Adam with Yosemite Private Tours Made Our Trip Incredibly Memorable!

Mark Robinson

Our hats are off to Adam and Yosemite Private Tours! We’ve traveled all over the world, but this trip ranks at the very top. Susanna is retiring, and we chose Yosemite as our first destination to celebrate. Although it was already March and we wanted to go in May, a quick web search turned up Yosemite Private Tours — and we couldn’t be happier!

Mark Robinson tour photo

They handled everything: picking us up at our San Francisco hotel, whisking us to Yosemite in a brand-new Grand Wagoneer, coordinating all arrangements during our stay, and returning us to our airport hotel after five fun and exhilarating days.

Adam was the ultimate guide — attentive, personable, flexible, and humble despite his incredible depth of knowledge about Yosemite and the surrounding region. We were amazed watching him interact with others in multiple languages — at least half a dozen!

I had some recent health concerns, and Adam quietly gauged our abilities while remaining flexible enough to adapt our adventures when he realized we were up for more rigorous activities. Without his intimate knowledge of both major attractions and hidden Yosemite gems, we could never have experienced nearly as much.

Mark Robinson tour photo

Yosemite Private Tours also went above and beyond to meet our requests. We hoped for a river-view room at the Yosemite View Lodge and were delighted to find a room with a spectacular view, just about 10 feet from the water. Adam even secured a last-minute dinner reservation at the Ahwahnee, another bucket-list highlight!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week and can’t wait for our next trip with Adam and Yosemite Private Tours. Next time, we hope to bring the whole family!

A Wonderful 50th Anniversary Trip to Sequoia and Yosemite

Scott & Evelyn McCurdy

We booked our 50th anniversary trip several months in advance, and honestly, we weren't quite sure what to expect. Looking back now, there isn't a thing we'd change.

Scott & Evelyn McCurdy tour photo

Adam was our guide throughout the trip, and he went far beyond what we expected. He even greeted us with some thoughtful gifts, helped with our luggage, and made sure everything was sorted at the hotels. From the very beginning, we felt we were in good hands.

This was our first time seeing the giant sequoias, and Adam's enthusiasm for them was contagious. He took the time to show us around and explain the area, and standing next to those enormous trees was something we'll never forget.

Scott & Evelyn McCurdy tour photo

After Sequoia national park, we continued on to Yosemite for the remainder of our nine-day trip. Each day was planned around what we wanted to see and how much walking we felt like doing. We got to see El Capitan, Half Dome, Sentinel Dome, waterfalls, and so many other beautiful parts of the park.

Scott & Evelyn McCurdy tour photo

We also did quite a bit of hiking. Adam joined us and knew when to encourage us to keep going and, equally importantly, when it was time to take it a little easier. At our age, we appreciated that very much!

He was always professional, but what really stood out was how genuinely kind and thoughtful he was. He kept us supplied with drinks and snacks, took countless photos for us, and was always happy to adjust the plans when we wanted to spend more time somewhere.

And then there's Adam himself. He's funny, smart, caring, and just a genuinely good person to spend time with. After nine days together, it really felt like we were saying goodbye to someone we'd known for much longer.

Scott & Evelyn McCurdy tour photo

For our 50th anniversary, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We didn't have to worry about the driving, hotels, or day-to-day details — we could simply enjoy the parks and each other.

It was a very special trip, and Adam played a huge part in making it one we'll remember for years to come.

Four Unforgettable Days in Yosemite and Lake Tahoe

Charleace Edlin

Where do you even begin when you've just had one of the best trips of your life?

We were first-time visitors to California, coming all the way from McKenzie, Tennessee, and we had a lot of questions about how to see everything we wanted to see. After doing plenty of research, booking a four-day private tour of Yosemite and Lake Tahoe was easily one of the best decisions we made.

Charleace Edlin tour photo

I'll admit, booking a multi-day trip with someone we'd never met before made us a little nervous at first. That feeling disappeared pretty quickly once we met Brandon Brown. He's warm, friendly, and has a personality that puts you at ease. By the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we'd known him much longer.

We saw so much during those four days. Yosemite's granite cliffs, waterfalls, valleys and meadows were incredible, and then Lake Tahoe was a completely different kind of beautiful. We visited Bridalveil Fall, Cathedral Peak, Half Dome, Sentinel Dome, Mariposa Grove and the giant sequoias, before continuing on to Lake Tahoe and Donner Pass.

Brandon knew the area extremely well and had a lot of interesting information about the history, geology, wildlife and natural features along the way. He also takes great photos, which was a real bonus. We ended up with some fantastic pictures of the trip, including quite a few of us together.

What really stood out, though, was how much attention he paid to the little things. He helped us with check-ins at the parks, hotels and restaurants and always seemed to be thinking one step ahead. Even making sure we had clean, comfortable restrooms along the way may sound like a small thing, but when you're travelling all day, you appreciate it!

Charleace Edlin tour photo

By the end of the first day, we had completely relaxed and stopped worrying about all the details. We knew Brandon had everything under control and was looking out for us.

Four days went by far too quickly. We came home with a lot of great memories, hundreds of photos, and a real appreciation for California.

We're already talking about coming back — and if we do, we're hoping Brandon will be available to show us around again!

Five Unforgettable Days in Yosemite and Sequoia

Sarah & Douglas Hamilton

We just got back from a five-day private tour with our family, and it really was a trip of a lifetime. We spent three days in Yosemite and another two exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon.

Sarah & Douglas Hamilton tour photo

Because we had several generations travelling together, with different ages and abilities, we weren't sure how easy it would be to keep everyone happy. Brandon handled it brilliantly. He was patient, accommodating, and very flexible whenever we wanted to change things around or make an extra stop.

On the first day, Brandon told us that our itinerary was flexible and that we'd decide things as we went. He wasn't kidding! We saw all the places we'd hoped to see, but he also took us to quite a few quieter, off-the-beaten-path spots that we would never have found on our own.

What we appreciated most was that he never made us feel like we were behind schedule or holding anyone up. He simply adjusted the day around our group and what everyone was comfortable doing.

Brandon is also just a really nice person to spend five days with. His knowledge of both parks is obvious, but you can also tell that he genuinely loves the outdoors and enjoys sharing it

Sarah & Douglas Hamilton tour photo

We also booked several day trips with this company while staying in San Francisco, including a San Francisco city tour, Alcatraz, Muir Woods, and Napa Valley wine country.

We had Mary as our tour guide, and she was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and just a really fun person to spend the day with.

Honestly, all the great reviews you read about this company are well deserved. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely book with them again!

A Truly Perfect Yosemite Bucket-List Adventure

Andy & Lynette Jordan

May 2025 • Family Vacation

We brought my 91-year-old mother to Yosemite National Park to help her check it off her bucket list — and it turned into the perfect vacation. We couldn’t have been happier with Brandon, our private tour guide, and the worry-free planning the company provided. We booked almost a year in advance, paying only a deposit to secure our reservation, knowing that hotels and other arrangements in Yosemite require early planning.

Over five unforgettable days, Brandon crafted the perfect itinerary — selecting hikes, scenic stops, and activities tailored to my mother’s abilities while still delivering breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences for the whole family.

Brandon’s warmth, knowledge, and passion for Yosemite made the trip truly special. By the end, he felt like part of our family.

If you want a stress-free, personalized, and memorable Yosemite adventure, this company delivers exactly what they promise — and then some.

Multi-generational Family Trip to Yosemite National Park

Tanya McKinnon

This was absolutely one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! I traveled with my parents and kids, and we booked a private tour from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park—a big decision, but truly the best one. We had a beautiful, spacious SUV all to ourselves, which was perfect since we couldn’t leave our luggage at the hotel. Five people plus all our bags fit comfortably.

Tanya McKinnon tour photo

Adam was an extraordinary tour guide—truly the best we’ve ever had. He knows Yosemite inside out and took us to breathtaking viewpoints, hidden gems, and all the iconic landmarks. He even took incredible photos for us! Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Tanya McKinnon tour photo

From swimming in the Merced River, hiking parts of the Mist Trail, exploring Yosemite Valley’s waterfalls, visiting Glacier Point, and walking among Yosemite’s 300-year-old giant sequoias, every moment was unforgettable. We never felt rushed—just cared for, informed, and completely inspired.

We highly recommend this company to anyone planning to visit Yosemite or San Francisco. An unforgettable experience for families of all ages!

Our Family Yosemite Experience Was Fantastic!

Jennifer Wilson

We were a family of four traveling with our two boys, 11 and 14, and booked Yosemite Private Tours for a four-day Yosemite trip. From the first phone call, everyone was really helpful and made the whole thing much easier for us.

Jennifer Wilson tour photo

Adam was our guide and was great with the boys. He knows Yosemite extremely well, but what we really liked was that he knew how to keep the kids interested. They actually looked forward to getting in the car each morning, which says a lot! By the end of the four days, Adam honestly felt more like a friend than a tour guide.

We flew into Fresno Yosemite International Airport and were picked up there. They had drinks, snacks and even postcards waiting for us, which was a nice little surprise. We headed into Yosemite and started with Mariposa Grove. Seeing the Giant Sequoias in person was something none of us will forget. Adam showed us around, told us about the park and took some really great family pictures. He has a good eye for photography, so we definitely took advantage of that!

Jennifer Wilson tour photo

We also had dinner at the old Wawona Hotel, and they took care of the hotel arrangements for us. That was one less thing for me to worry about.

The hiking was another story! We did the Mist Trail and made it to Vernal Fall, Emerald Pool and Nevada Fall. The kids did great, although by the end I think all of us were ready to sit down for a while.

We spent a lot of time in Yosemite Valley too and saw Swinging Bridge, Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls and Tunnel View. The boys especially loved watching the climbers on El Capitan. It's one thing to see pictures of people climbing it and another thing to actually stand there and watch them way up on the rock.

Jennifer Wilson tour photo

Having Adam drive made such a difference. I didn't have to worry about parking, traffic, getting lost or trying to figure out what we could realistically see each day. We could just enjoy the trip. The company also helped us figure out the best time of year to come, which turned out to be good advice.

Before this trip, I honestly didn't realize they offered tours in other parts of California. Now I wish we had booked them for San Francisco and our drive down to Big Sur too. We probably would have seen a lot more and saved ourselves some headaches.

Four days went by way too fast. We had a great time, the kids had fun, and we came home with a ton of pictures and some really good family memories.

A Wonderful Yosemite and Monterey Trip

John O’Reilly

We recently did the 5-day private Yosemite and Monterey tour, and we were very happy with how the whole trip turned out. Nicolas was our guide, and he really did make a difference.

He is a terrific guide — very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and good company to have around for several days on the road. He kept things interesting without giving us a running commentary all day, which we appreciated. We could ask questions, take our time, stop for photos, or stay a little longer somewhere if we felt like it.

John O’Reilly tour photo

We had four days and three nights in Yosemite, which was probably the highlight for us. Having that much time meant we could actually enjoy the park instead of trying to see everything in a few hours. We did some walking and hiking, but also had plenty of time just to sit back and take in the scenery. From Yosemite we continued on to Monterey and the coast, and the oceanfront hotel there was a lovely way to finish that part of the trip.

Our daughter was originally supposed to come with us for the whole trip, but unfortunately, she couldn't make it. She was able to meet us in Monterey, though, and eventually we were all together again in San Francisco. So, in the end, it worked out rather nicely.

Having a private SUV and Nicolas doing the driving made things much easier. We didn't have to worry about the hotels, park entrances, reservations, or all the little details that come with organizing a trip like this. We could just enjoy the trip and leave the logistics to him.

I'll admit, there were a few roads and higher areas where I was quite happy not to be behind the wheel! Some of the roads can be a little intimidating if you're not used to the terrain, particularly where there isn't much of a guardrail. We also needed about a day to get used to the altitude in Yosemite. Thankfully, the itinerary allowed us to ease into it rather than jumping straight into everything.

John O’Reilly tour photo

One thing we particularly liked was that we never felt we were being hurried along to the next stop. The days were well planned, but they didn't feel rigid. There was time to stop, look around, take pictures, have a walk, and simply enjoy where we were.

Looking back, we're very glad we chose to do Yosemite and Monterey this way. The scenery was spectacular, the accommodation was very good, and having Nicolas with us took a lot of the usual stress out of travelling around California.

Thank you, Nicolas, for looking after us and helping make our California trip such a memorable one.

We’re a group of friends visiting from India, and we did a 2-day small-group private tour of Yosemite. Adam was our guide, and he was friendly, accommodating, and easy to spend time with.

Priya V. Sharma tour photo

He also took some amazing photos for us along the way, which was a really nice bonus. We got to see some beautiful parts of the park without having to worry about planning everything ourselves.

The only issue we ran into was a bit of traffic, but honestly, that was expected with a summer visit to Yosemite. Other than that, everything went very well, and we had a great couple of days exploring the park.

We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend Adam and the team.

Antonio R. Miñarro

Antonio R. Miñarro

Adam and Brandon were our guides during our trip to Yosemite, and we were especially lucky to have Adam as our main guide because we needed a Spanish-speaking guide. His Spanish was excellent, which made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable for us.

Antonio R. Miñarro tour photo

We booked a multi-day private tour of Yosemite National Park, along with a day trip to San Francisco with the same company. From the moment we booked, they were always quick to respond to our questions, and everything was very well organized.

April was definitely a great time to visit Yosemite. The waterfalls were spectacular, with water coming down from the cliffs into Yosemite Valley, snow still covering the mountain peaks, and sunshine down in the valley. We even experienced a light snowstorm in the high country, which was a really special surprise!

Antonio R. Miñarro tour photo

Everything went smoothly, and the whole trip was amazing. It was definitely worth the money, and we would absolutely do it again.

Dr. Gary Reynolds

Dr. Gary Reynolds

Hi, I’m Gary. My wife, June, and I booked a 3-day private tour of Yosemite National Park with Yosemite Private Tours last year. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected medical issue and wasn’t able to travel, so we had to cancel our trip.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to get our money back or even be able to reschedule. But the company was incredibly understanding and worked with us to postpone the trip. They honored our full tour the following August with no extra charges, which we really appreciated.

When we finally made the trip, we stayed at The Ahwahnee in Yosemite Valley, and the whole experience was even better than we had hoped.

Dr. Gary Reynolds tour photo

From the original booking to the rescheduled trip, everyone we dealt with was helpful, professional, and easy to work with. They really went out of their way to accommodate our situation, and that meant a lot to us.

Things happen, and you learn a lot about a company by how they handle unexpected situations. In our case, they treated us very well, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a private Yosemite trip.

Yosemite National Park Private 3-Day Tour Package

We just finished a wonderful tour of Yosemite National Park with Leo. First, our guide Leo was wonderful - patient, friendly, professional, amazing hiker guide and very helpful. Use whatever adjective you want - he made the trip so enjoyable and doable for my wife and myself, since we are getting on in years. I am 80 and my wife 77. As a result, we certainly could not do the activities we once could. That said, Leo and Yosemite Private Tours were able to structure our daily activities, so we saw Yosemite National Park in an in-depth yet relaxed way. We could not have made the tour without Leo and we truly appreciate the three days spent visiting the Park.

A Beautiful Spring Day in Yosemite

Elaine Moineur

We were a small group of friends who wanted to enjoy Yosemite without having to deal with all the planning, bookings, and logistics ourselves. We booked a two-day private tour with Nicolas as our guide, and it turned out to be a great decision.

We visited during that transition from winter into spring, and it was such a lovely time to be in the park. The waterfalls were flowing strongly, the meadows were starting to turn green, and we even saw wildflowers beginning to pop up in different areas.

Elaine Moineur tour photo

The weather was comfortable for hiking, and the park felt a little more peaceful than we imagine it would during the busiest summer months. Everything looked fresh and vibrant, and there seemed to be something interesting around every corner.

Nicolas was a great guide and made the two days very easy for us. We could simply enjoy the scenery without worrying about where to go or how to fit everything into our time.

Spring really showed us a different side of Yosemite, and we're very glad we chose this time of year. We had a wonderful couple of days and would definitely recommend visiting Yosemite in the spring.

Michigan Vacation to Yosemite, Big Sur & San Francisco

Margaret Murray-Wright

Greetings from Michigan! Every recommendation, every encounter, and every detail of our trip was absolutely perfect. We worked with this company to customize a dream vacation covering Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, and Big Sur, and the experience exceeded every expectation.

Brandon, Mary, and Buddy were outstanding—knowledgeable, flexible, and committed to making sure we had the best trip possible. Brandon’s expertise in Yosemite made each day meaningful, engaging, and incredibly efficient. He also happens to be a fantastic photographer, which was an ideal bonus!

Mary and Buddy knew the terrain inside and out, helping us make the most of every moment. Mary, thank you especially for that unforgettable beach stop in Big Sur—the views along the iconic Highway 1 coastline were absolutely breathtaking.

Margaret Murray-Wright tour photo

We spent two days exploring Big Sur (with a stop in Carmel), three days in Yosemite, and 1.5 days in San Francisco, including a self-guided visit to Alcatraz. Pro tip: Don’t miss lunch at The Bench at Pebble Beach overlooking the 18th green—just WOW.

Letting them do the driving was a total game-changer. We enjoyed countless scenic stops, local artisan shops, and plenty of “bougie” shopping along the way.

You don’t need to stay at the iconic Ahwahnee—Brandon found us a wonderful alternative—but we highly recommend dining at The Ahwahnee and visiting the gift shop. Even with lighter waterfalls in the fall, Yosemite was magical. Maybe next time we’ll return in spring when the falls are roaring.

Between excursions, we stayed at The Argonaut Hotel on Fisherman’s Wharf—a beautifully restored cannery with stunning rooms and plenty of character.

A huge thank-you to everyone who made our 75th birthday celebration truly unforgettable.

A Wonderful Family Gathering in Yosemite

Robert & Diane Caldwell

We booked a two-day Yosemite group tour by van so our whole family could get together and enjoy some time in the park. Having the hotel and park fees included made everything much easier, especially with several family members travelling together.

Robert & Diane Caldwell tour photo

Adam was our guide, and he really made the trip enjoyable from beginning to end. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and did a great job keeping everyone comfortable while making sure we saw the places we wanted to see.

As a senior couple, we appreciated being able to enjoy Yosemite without worrying about driving, parking, or figuring out all the logistics ourselves. The van was comfortable, and the pace worked well for the different ages and abilities in our family.

Most importantly, we had a lot of fun together. Yosemite was beautiful, but having Adam there to guide us and keep everything running smoothly made the experience even better.

We were very happy with the tour and would definitely recommend it to families looking for an easy and enjoyable way to experience Yosemite together.

11 Incredible Days Exploring the Best of California!

Holly Mallard

We started our trip with a 6-day private tour through Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes, the Eastern Sierra, and Death Valley. Adam was our guide, and after reading all the great reviews about him, I can honestly say they were right. He was great!

Holly Mallard tour photo

We saw way more than we ever expected. In Yosemite, we had some amazing wildlife encounters, including getting pretty close to bears, and saw incredible mountain views, lakes, waterfalls, and so many of the places we had always hoped to visit and explore. Honestly, I think we saw twice as much as we originally thought we would.

After Yosemite, we spent a couple of nights in Mammoth Lakes at The Westin Monache Resort. We explored some really cool geological sites, parks, and a few hidden spots around the area. I honestly wish we had planned more time there. It’s absolutely breathtaking and, in my opinion, really underrated.

Then we headed down to Death Valley, which was something completely different. And yes... it was HOT! But it was still an experience we’re glad we didn’t miss.

Holly Mallard tour photo

The next part of our trip took us from San Francisco up to Redwood National Park, where Jonathan was our next guide. Seeing those giant redwoods in person was something I’ll never forget. They are just unbelievable — you really don’t get a sense of their size until you’re standing next to one.

Holly Mallard tour photo

Looking back, this really was the trip of a lifetime. We saw so many different parts of California in just 11 days, and every place seemed completely different from the last. From the mountains and waterfalls to the desert and those incredible redwoods, it was one heck of a trip!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience—and we’ve traveled all over the world!

Kevin Mark

Honestly, we never thought we’d actually make it to the top of Half Dome on a day hike, but somehow we did it! The kids did surprisingly well, although I have to admit it was probably harder on us parents. It’s a tough hike, no question, but once you’re standing at the top, you forget pretty quickly how tired you are. Totally worth it.

Kevin Mark tour photo

We booked a 5-day private tour of Yosemite and stayed at Chateau du Sureau in Oakhurst. We flew in and out of Fresno Yosemite International Airport, which ended up working out really well for us.

Kevin Mark tour photo

Adam was our guide, and having him with us made a huge difference. We managed to see pretty much every corner of the park, and he was incredibly flexible. He didn’t just follow a schedule or stick to a standard itinerary. He paid attention to how we were feeling, what we were interested in, and what we wanted to do, and he adjusted things as we went.

We thought the Mist Trail would be our biggest challenge, but of course, we then decided to take on some of the higher trails and viewpoints around Yosemite Valley. That definitely pushed us a little more!

This was definitely not a relaxing vacation, but that was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted an adventure, and we got one.

Kevin Mark tour photo

We also went kayaking on Tenaya Lake, rented a boat, and even went water skiing in Yosemite. Seriously, how many people can say they went water skiing in Yosemite?!

Overall, it was a fantastic trip and one our family will be talking about for a long time. We’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Carolyn Ryan

We first used this company for a tour of San Francisco, Napa, and Alcatraz, and after that experience, we decided to book a 4-day Yosemite trip with them as well. I’m really glad we did.

The biggest thing for us was that we didn’t have to worry about all the little details. Everything was taken care of, so we could just enjoy the trip instead of constantly checking schedules, directions, and reservations.

Carolyn Ryan tour photo

Mary was fantastic with us in San Francisco, and Adam was just as good in Yosemite. Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to spend time with, which made a big difference.

At this point, I’m not sure what else I can add that hasn’t already been said in all the other reviews. We had a great experience with the company from start to finish, and we’d definitely recommend them to anyone planning a trip to the area.

Yosemite With Three Teenagers — And They Actually Loved It!

Jen and Heath M.

We spent three days in Yosemite with Nicolas as our guide, and from the moment he picked us up at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, we had a feeling he was going to be a good fit for our family.

We have three teenage boys, so finding someone who could keep up with all of us was important! Nicolas is an avid hiker himself, and we're a pretty active family, so we were on the same page from the start.

We really enjoyed seeing Yosemite from the Valley all the way up into the high country. One of the highlights was hiking to the top of a stunning dome, where we had incredible views over Tuolumne Meadows. We also got to explore several other parts of the park that we probably wouldn't have found on our own.

Jen and Heath M. tour photo

Nicolas knew the trails and the area extremely well, but what worked especially well for us was that he understood our boys wanted to keep moving and see as much as possible. There was plenty of hiking, some very tired legs by the end of the day, and a lot of “Wow, look at that!” moments along the way.

And honestly, getting three teenagers to agree that a family trip was great is no small accomplishment!

Three days gave us enough time to really explore Yosemite without feeling like we were constantly racing the clock. We came away with some great memories and a much better appreciation for just how huge and varied the park really is.

We're really glad we did the trip this way. For an active family with teenagers, having someone who knows the park and can keep up with the group really does make a difference.

A Seven-Day Adventure Through Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks

Andrew C. and Family

We booked this 7-day trip almost a year in advance. Yosemite and the giant sequoias had been on our bucket list for quite a while, so we were really looking forward to it. Yosemite Private Tours certainly met our expectations and, in many ways, exceeded them.

We spent part of the trip in Sequoia National Park and stayed at Wuksachi Lodge, which was only about a 10-minute drive from the famous General Sherman Tree. Seeing those enormous sequoias in person was a bit of a dream come true. They are even more impressive when you're standing underneath them.

We're a pretty active family and avid hikers, so we were keen to do some serious hiking in both Sequoia and Yosemite. One of our hikes took us through steep canyon terrain and eventually up towards Cathedral Lake near Tuolumne Meadows. Parts of it felt more like rock climbing than hiking! We also followed trails alongside waterfalls that seemed to just keep going. It was challenging at times, but the scenery made every bit of it worthwhile.

In Yosemite, we stayed at Yosemite Valley Lodge near the falls, which was a great base for exploring the park. We made the most of every day and came away feeling like we'd really experienced the area rather than simply passed through it.

Andrew C. and Family tour photo

Hats off to Adam and the whole team. They made the trip feel very personal and went out of their way to make it a memorable experience for all of us.

If you're looking for a worry-free private tour package to Yosemite and Sequoia, we'd definitely recommend this company. Having the hotels, transportation, guides, and all the little details taken care of made the whole getaway much easier for our family.

A Relaxed Three-Day Yosemite Trip for Us “Seniors”

Ron Williams and Gary Davis

Did Leo really just call us a group of seniors? Seriously!

We booked the private tour package with a stay at The Ahwahnee and had a great three days in Yosemite with Leo as our guide. He picked us up in a large, high-top black van, which gave everyone plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable.

Ron Williams and Gary Davis tour photo

What we liked most was that Leo seemed to figure out pretty quickly what we were comfortable doing and what we weren't. We told him what we wanted to see, and he planned the days around that without pushing us into anything we didn't want to do.

We took our time, enjoyed the scenery, and never felt like we were being rushed from one place to another. That's important when you're travelling as a group, especially when everyone has a slightly different pace.

Ron Williams and Gary Davis tour photo

Honestly, we think this tour is a bit underrated. For a private three-day Yosemite trip with the hotel included, we felt it was well worth the money.

And Leo — we're still trying to decide whether we're actually senior enough for that label!

From the Australian Countryside to California

Alan and Angela Forte

We come from a pretty laid-back farming town in Victoria, Australia, and when we started looking into Yosemite and the redwoods, we somehow ended up on this tour company's website.

We decided to go for it and booked the 6-day Yosemite and Mammoth Lakes package from San Francisco. It was a big trip for us, but having everything arranged made things much easier. We could enjoy the scenery without having to worry about the driving, hotels, and all the little details along the way.

Alan and Angela Forte tour photo

Yosemite and Mammoth Lakes were both amazing, but in completely different ways. The landscapes are so different from what we're used to back home, and we found ourselves stopping all the time just to take it all in.

We then spent two days exploring San Francisco before continuing on to Redwood National Park for another four-day trip. The redwoods were something else entirely. Standing next to those enormous trees is one of those experiences you don't forget easily.

Mary and Nicolas were both wonderful guides. They were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly knew the areas very well. They also made the long days on the road enjoyable, which certainly helped!

Alan and Angela Forte tour photo

We've now seen both Yosemite and the redwoods, two places we'd wanted to visit for a long time, and we're very glad we made the trip. California is incredibly varied, and travelling this way gave us the chance to see and experience quite a lot of it without having to organise everything ourselves.

Alan and Angela Forte tour photo

After all those hours on the road, we came home with plenty of stories to tell — and more than a few photos to show the family.

We'd happily recommend the company to anyone planning a similar trip.

The Perfect family vacation in Yosemite & Mammoth Lakes

Marggie E. Utchel

We enjoyed every moment of our Yosemite and Mammoth Lakes travel package with this tour company. We have been to Yosemite before, but this time, we were more excited about our trip to Mammoth Lakes and Eastern Sierra. Our guide, Adam, took us on an unforgettable drive to Mammoth Lakes, Mono Lake, Bodie ghost town, Lone Pine, and other off-the-beaten-path places we have never even heard of.

Marggie E. Utchel tour photo

He also took us hiking to places like Devils Postpile National Monument and Rainbow Falls, with acres of stunning mountain scenery. We loved all the attention to detail and the efforts he made to accommodate our family’s changing plans. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary upgrade to the Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth Lakes. This is a very elegant resort and in the best location in Mammoth Lakes. It reminded us of our vacation to Switzerland with similar awesome landscapes. Book with Yosemite Private Tours. They are trustworthy, and you’ll be in good hands

One Day, Five New York Girls, and a Whole Lot of Yosemite!

Vicki Antzoulis

We only had one day to spend in Yosemite after three days in Sequoia National Park, so we knew we had to make every minute count.

We definitely lucked out with Adam as our guide. Somehow, this guy managed to keep up with all five of us—five wild New York girls! and still get us to Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point in the same day. I’m sure it was a long day for him, but he never made us feel rushed or like we were asking too much. He just kept things moving and made it work.

I also have to give the company credit for helping us out before we even arrived. We were staying pretty far from Yosemite, and they actually suggested that we switch to a hotel closer to the park. We took their advice, and thank goodness we did. With only one day, we would have wasted a huge chunk of our time driving back and forth.

We had an absolute blast. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, Adam was a great sport with our crazy group, and having someone else handle the driving and logistics made the day so much more enjoyable.

If you're trying to see Yosemite in a short amount of time, I’d definitely recommend them. They know what they’re doing, and you can trust them to make the most of your time.

Karen Benny

We did a 4-day private tour of Yosemite National Park with Yosemite Private Tours, and Adam was our guide. He definitely didn’t disappoint!

Karen Benny tour photo

Adam’s experience really shows. From the beginning, he took the time to ask what we wanted to see and do, what we were most interested in, and how much hiking and walking we wanted to do. He then adjusted the itinerary around us, which made the whole trip feel very personal and relaxed. We were amazed at how much of Yosemite we were able to see without having to do long or difficult hikes. Adam knows the park like the back of his hand and always seemed to know exactly where to take us for the best views and experiences.

Adam is extremely knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor, and was just easy to spend time with. We never felt rushed, and he did a great job showing us the highlights while also taking us to some places we probably wouldn’t have found on our own.

Karen Benny tour photo

And we have to mention the photos! We absolutely loved the pictures Adam took of us. We came home with so many great shots that we honestly didn’t expect. He has a really good eye for finding the right locations, angles, and moments, and it was such a nice bonus to have those memories from our trip.

Overall, Adam made our Yosemite experience truly memorable. We would definitely recommend him and Yosemite Private Tours to anyone looking for a private and personalized Yosemite experience.

Three Days of Hiking and Exploring Yosemite

Ruth and Harold

We had a fabulous three-day tour of Yosemite with Adam and Dylan as our guides. Both were great, and they really understood that we wanted to stay active and get in as much hiking as possible while still seeing the main sights.

Ruth and Harold tour photo

We especially enjoyed our hikes in Hetch Hetchy Valley, Taft Point, and Sentinel Dome, as well as climbing to the top of Lembert Dome in Tuolumne Meadows. There was plenty of walking, but that's exactly what we were looking for.

Our stay at Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp was comfortable and a good place to relax after the long days out in the park.

All in all, we had a wonderful time. Five stars from us, and definitely worth every penny!

An Exceptional 3-Day Yosemite Experience. A truly unforgettable 3-day private Yosemite tour!

Peggy & Daniel Tan

We are a couple from Singapore, and from the moment we booked our tour until Nicolas dropped us off at SFO Airport, everything was handled so professionally and smoothly. The entire experience far exceeded our expectations.

Our tour guide, Nicolas, was exceptional. He is an avid hiker himself and clearly has a deep knowledge and genuine passion for Yosemite. We wanted to do plenty of hiking, and Nicolas knew exactly where to take us, how to make the most of our time, and how to find some amazing spots away from the crowds.

What impressed us most was his dedication and attention to detail. He was patient, knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a wonderful experience. It was obvious that guiding is more than just a job for him.

From the initial communication and booking, throughout our three days in Yosemite, and all the way to our airport drop-off, everything was seamless.

Two Great Days in Yosemite National Park — 3-Generation Family & Friends Tour

Mark and Gail Wright

We spent two days exploring Yosemite while staying at Under Canvas near Groveland, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable trip for our three-generation family and friends group.

We booked this group tour for 15 people, travelling by minibus with Adam as our tour guide. Having the minibus pick us up right at the lodge made things very easy. We didn't have to worry about driving, parking, or figuring out all the details ourselves, and Adam handled the driving as well.

One thing we really liked was that the days weren't completely set in stone. Adam adjusted the itinerary depending on the weather, road conditions, and what the group wanted to see. We had plenty of time for walks, photos, and a few stops that we probably would have missed if we'd been trying to organize everything ourselves.

Mark and Gail Wright tour photo

And then there were the bears! The kids couldn't stop talking about them. Adam told us that seeing bears is really a matter of luck — sometimes you can go weeks without seeing one. Well, we must have had an exceptional day! We spotted six bears in four different locations, including along the Glacier Point Road and in Tuolumne Meadows. Needless to say, the kids thought that was the best part of the whole trip!

We also had some amazing hikes, including Sentinel Dome and Glacier Point. There was plenty to see and do, but we never felt like we were simply rushing from one place to another.

For us, two days was definitely better than trying to rush through Yosemite in a single day. There is so much to see, and it was nice to have enough time to actually enjoy the park instead of constantly watching the clock.

Mark and Gail Wright tour photo

Overall, it was a very easy and enjoyable way for our family and friends to experience Yosemite. We came back tired, but very happy that we decided to spend two days there. And I'm pretty sure the six bears will be what the kids remember most!

The scenery was spectacular, the accommodations were good, and having Nicolas with us took a lot of the usual stress out of travelling around California.

Thank you, Nicolas, for looking after us and helping make our California trip such a memorable one.

TRUE WINTER WONDERLAND! A Magical Escape to Yosemite Before Our Wedding

Danny G.

Before our wedding, Alesia and I decided to take a five-day trip to California, with a few days set aside to experience Yosemite National Park in winter. We wanted to do something really special together before the wedding, and looking back, it was one of the best decisions we could have made.

Danny G. tour photo

We’d seen photos of Yosemite in winter and thought it looked beautiful, but seeing it properly in person was something else altogether. It was absolutely spectacular. Snow-covered mountains, frozen waterfalls, quiet trails and the whole valley covered in snow — it honestly felt like we’d stepped into another world. Coming from Melbourne, we’d never experienced anything quite like it.

Danny G. tour photo

We booked a private Yosemite tour and were lucky enough to have Adam as our guide. He was fantastic and genuinely went above and beyond to make the whole experience special. From the luxury vehicle and daily sightseeing to the hikes through deep snow, he made everything feel effortless.

We explored so much during our time there — hiking through the giant sequoias, heading up into the high country, walking along the Mist Trail and seeing the frozen mist up close, and making our way to Emerald Pool at the base of Nevada Falls. It was pure magic.

Danny G. tour photo

Having a local guide who really knows Yosemite made such a difference, especially in winter. We didn't have to worry about where to go, what trails were accessible, or how to plan each day. Adam knew the park inside and out and always seemed to know where we should be and when.

We stayed at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley, which made the whole experience even more special.

Danny G. tour photo

We'd never seen a winter landscape like this up close. One of the funniest and most memorable moments was simply walking — and even dancing — outside while a proper snowstorm rolled through. It was freezing, but we didn't ca

Journey to Yosemite: A Thrilling 3-Day Adventure Amidst Nature's Majesty

Darshit Shah

We embarked on a delightful 3-day adventure in Yosemite National Park, complete with comfortable hotel accommodations, and cherished every moment. The hotel’s prime location beside the Merced River offered peace, convenience, and ultimate comfort. With top-notch amenities—including a Jacuzzi bathtub, a cozy in-room fireplace, and a full kitchen (perfect for my mom’s cooking)—it was just a few miles from Yosemite Valley, making our stay both relaxing and convenient. Yosemite’s majestic beauty truly belongs on everyone’s bucket list.

Darshit Shah tour photo

Accompanied by my parents visiting from India, we were guided by Adam, whose knowledge and passion for Yosemite made the experience unforgettable. He expertly led us through the park’s wonders, including the awe-inspiring Yosemite Falls, one of North America’s tallest waterfalls, and other iconic highlights. We marveled at the towering granite formations of Half Dome and El Capitan, the Three Brothers, the misty cascade of Bridalveil Fall, and the serene vistas at Valley View. My parents were thrilled with every stop, taking in the scenery with awe and delight, smiling at every breathtaking view.

Darshit Shah tour photo

We also explored Yosemite’s rich history, visiting the Indian Village and museum, as well as the exploration and visitor centers. Even in April, the snowy charm of Ahwahnee and Curry Village added magic to our journey. The trip treated us to a variety of seasons—from rain and snow to cold mornings and sunny blue skies—making every day unique.

Yosemite Valley is immense and requires multiple days to explore fully. The Valley Loop Trail offered an immersive experience of the valley’s diverse landscapes and attractions. We visited Yosemite Village, the Swinging Bridge, Tunnel View Overlook, Merced Canyon, Wildcat Falls, Cascade Falls, Hetch Hetchy Valley, and so much more. My parents were constantly amazed and couldn’t stop expressing how incredible each view and hike was, making their joy and excitement truly contagious.

Darshit Shah tour photo

On our final day, we enjoyed a scenic drive along the Merced River, stopping for a delightful picnic lunch in Mariposa Old Town. The drive back took us through the farmlands of Merced, past irrigation canals, almond trees, pistachios, peaches, citrus orchards, and the rolling green hills of the coastal ranges. Driving alongside rivers and lakes all the way through Gilroy back to Silicon Valley, my parents kept remarking how much they loved the journey and how perfectly organized everything was.

Thanks to Yosemite Private Tours and our incredible guide Adam, this trip wasn’t just a vacation—it was a life-enriching experience that brought joy, wonder, and lasting memories to our entire family. My parents left Yosemite smiling from ear to ear, and we all agreed it was one of the happiest and most fulfilling trips we’ve ever taken.

Yosemite + Sequoia National Park — a lifetime experience!

Theresa Griffith
Theresa Griffith tour photo

We did a 3-day Yosemite and Sequoia National Park trip with three generations of our family, and it honestly exceeded all of our expectations. Adam was our guide and did a fantastic job from beginning to end.

We were picked up at SFO and finished the trip with a drop-off at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, which made everything very easy for our family.

The kids — and especially the grandkids — looked forward to every day. We enjoyed everything from the scenic drives and hiking to walking through the giant sequoias and the incredible tunnel trees. One of our favorite experiences was making the climb up to Moro Rock in Sequoia National Park. It was a workout, but the views were absolutely worth it!

Theresa Griffith tour photo

The accommodations were also better than we expected. At Yosemite View Lodge, we had three suites with river views and kitchens. The indoor and outdoor heated pools were clean and were a big hit with everyone after a long day of exploring.

We also stayed at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park. There isn't a pool there, but the lodge is beautiful and, considering the limited lodging options inside the park, we felt it was one of the best choices for staying in Sequoia.

Traveling with three generations can be challenging, but having everything organized and having Adam with us made the whole trip so much easier. We never felt rushed, and everyone had a wonderful time.

We came home with some amazing memories and hundreds of photos. We would absolutely recommend this trip to other families, especially if you're looking for a comfortable way to experience both Yosemite and Sequoia together.

An amazing family trip through California

Alvaro & Ana Maria Arbelaez

Our family traveled from Bogotá to California and booked several tours with Yosemite Private Tours during our trip. We visited San Francisco, Napa, Silicon Valley, Lake Tahoe, the Eastern Sierra, Mammoth Lakes, and Yosemite. We also had hotels and the different parks fees included, so we really did not have to worry about anything. Everything was organized for us, which made a big difference traveling with the whole family.

Alvaro & Ana Maria Arbelaez tour photo

We had a few different guides during our time around the San Francisco Bay Area, and everyone was very nice and professional. But we spent the most time with Luis, who became our favorite. He speaks fluent Spanish, which was very helpful for our family, and especially for the kids. He was very patient with them, answered all their questions, and made the tours fun instead of feeling like we were just being taken from one place to another.

One of our favorite parts of the entire trip was Lake Tahoe. The scenery was incredible, and our family really enjoyed spending time there. We also completely fell in love with the Eastern Sierra Nevada. The landscapes around Mammoth Lakes and the old Bodie ghost town were something very different from what we are used to seeing in Colombia.

Yosemite was another highlight, especially the Yosemite High Country and Yosemite Valley. Every area felt different, and having someone who knew the roads, viewpoints, history, and best places to stop made the experience much better.

Alvaro & Ana Maria Arbelaez tour photo

Looking back, what we appreciated most was not having to worry about driving, hotels, park arrangements, or trying to organize everything ourselves. We could simply enjoy being together as a family.

It was a long trip with many places, but these are the memories our family will talk about for a long time. We are especially grateful to Luis for making our children feel comfortable and helping us enjoy every day.

Thank you for a wonderful family experience. We highly recommend this company, especially for families traveling from another country.

Yosemite National Park: Nature at Its Absolute Best

Dell & Gaye Gilliland

What a wonderful three days we had with Brandon exploring Yosemite National Park and the giant sequoias.

I was travelling with a recently fractured back, so we really appreciated Brandon's thoughtfulness and patience. He adjusted the pace of the trip to make things comfortable for me, while still making sure we got to see all the iconic sights. We never felt rushed or that we were missing out.

Our hotel, with beautiful river views, was an added bonus. Having the driving, accommodation, and other details taken care of made the whole experience so much easier for us. For us, it was definitely worth the time and money.

Brandon knows the parks incredibly well and grew up nearby, so he seemed to know exactly where to take us for the best views and photo opportunities. That local knowledge really added something to the trip.

Brandon, thank you for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable. We would highly recommend Yosemite Private Tours to anyone looking for a comfortable and personalised way to see Yosemite and the sequoias.

Three Great Days and Two Nights in Yosemite

We spent three days and two nights in Yosemite with Brandon on a private tour, with our lodging included. From the very beginning at Glacier Point, it was obvious that Brandon really enjoys what he does and knows the park extremely well.

Over the three days, we managed to do six hikes, and Brandon was great at choosing trails that matched our abilities and pace. We never felt rushed or pushed to do more than we were comfortable with. Every hike had something different to offer, and the scenery was incredible.

One of the more unexpected highlights was when Brandon took us to what felt like a secret natural spring. The water was so fresh and tasted amazing. It's one of those little moments from the trip that we'll probably talk about for years.

By the end of the three days, Brandon didn't really feel like just our tour guide anymore. We had spent so much time together that it felt like we'd made a friend along the way.

Outstanding Trip with an Amazing, Reliable Tour Company

Yosemite 4-Day Guided Tour

A lifelong ambition of visiting Yosemite National Park was fulfilled, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Yosemite Private Tours to anyone planning this trip.

Our very friendly and personable guide, Adam, was first-class and highly professional. He was punctual throughout, an exceptionally competent driver, and the SUV was luxurious. With 22 years of experience guiding visitors around Yosemite, Adam possesses encyclopedic knowledge of this vast and breathtaking park.

Adam quickly understood what we wanted to achieve from the tour and sensitively adapted the itinerary to our needs, pacing everything perfectly. Over four days, we explored an incredible variety of Yosemite’s awe-inspiring wilderness — hiking up Sentinel Dome, visiting Lake May, and marveling at the ancient giant sequoias.

A highlight was seeing a mother bear with her two cubs, which was absolutely thrilling. We also learned about Yosemite’s geological origins, its native peoples and their history, and even watched climbers tackle the 3-day ascent of El Capitan. There was so much to feast our eyes and minds upon.

This trip far exceeded my expectations. Yosemite is a place I hope to visit again, and we would certainly use this family-run tour company again.

We decided to celebrate our 43rd anniversary with a trip to Yosemite, and looking back, I don’t think we could have picked a better place.

We booked a 3-day private tour and stayed at Tenaya Lodge, which we really enjoyed. It was comfortable, beautiful, and the perfect place to relax after being out all day.

We did some hiking, but sightseeing was really our main goal. At this point, we weren’t looking to spend three days doing nothing but hiking! We wanted to see as much of the park as we could, and our guide did a great job of making that happen without rushing us from one place to another.

We got to Tuolumne Meadows, Hetch Hetchy Valley, Glacier Point, and Mariposa Grove, among quite a few other spots. It was fun seeing how different each part of Yosemite is. And those giant sequoias at Mariposa Grove—wow. You really have to see them in person to appreciate just how enormous they are.

For our 43rd anniversary, it was a pretty great way to celebrate. We came home with some wonderful memories, and Yosemite is definitely a place we’d love to see again.

Great, Informative Private 3-day Yosemite Tour with a Passionate Guide

Frans Postma

We did a three-day private Yosemite tour with Brandon, and it was absolutely fantastic. He’s incredibly passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable—he seemed to know every mountain, creek, and viewpoint in Yosemite. He’s also an exceptionally smooth driver, which I appreciated since I get car-sick very easily… but not once during this tour. That alone deserves major credit!

Yosemite is stunning in every direction. We spent one day exploring Yosemite Valley, one day up north along Tioga Road, and one day toward Glacier Point. Even though it was late season and many waterfalls were low, we still got to enjoy beautiful views of Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall, and others across the valley. From transportation, lodging, permits, and reservations to guiding and planning—everything was handled perfectly. Truly a 5-star experience.

I highly recommend this company for all Yosemite tours. At minimum, I’d suggest a two-day tour because the drive from San Francisco is about four hours each way—but three or four days is even better. The park is huge, and traveling between points takes time on scenic, winding mountain roads.

We stayed at Yosemite View Lodge (the Riverview room was amazing). The rooms are spacious and come with a full kitchen. The restaurant fills up quickly, but there’s also a bar and a pizza place onsite. Our guide was flexible and even took us out for dinner nearby. We loved the pools and hot tubs, especially with views of the river rushing by—much nicer than using the in-room jacuzzi!

A memorable, well-organized, and truly enjoyable Yosemite adventure. Highly recommended!

While Viator is convenient, they aren’t equipped to answer detailed questions or provide follow-up support. The tour company stepped in immediately, handled all our inquiries directly, and offered professional, personalized guidance from start to finish.(We later learned Viator takes almost 40% commission from small businesses — booking directly with Yosemite Private Tours can save you both time and money.)

Our guide, Brandon Brown, made this family adventure truly unforgettable. His confident, easygoing personality set a cheerful tone from the moment the tour began. His expert driving made us feel safe and comfortable on the Sierra Nevada mountain roads, and his deep knowledge of Yosemite’s landmarks, history, and viewpoints brought the entire park to life.

What we appreciated most was Brandon’s genuine respect for our family’s comfort and preferences. He balanced the interests of both the young and older members of our group, ensuring everyone had an enjoyable, meaningful experience every day.

We can’t thank Brandon and Yosemite Private Tours enough for creating such a memorable, stress-free vacation. Highly recommended for families looking for a premium private tour in Yosemite or Lake Tahoe!

A Long Day in Yosemite — But Absolutely Worth It!

Margaret Griffith

We had a really great day exploring Yosemite with Brandon as our guide. It was a long day, but honestly, we enjoyed every minute of it.

Brandon knew the park extremely well and took us around to see the main sights, while also showing us a few quieter spots along the way. We saw waterfalls, beautiful viewpoints, and plenty of Yosemite Valley. Somehow, we managed to fit a lot into one day without feeling like we were constantly being rushed.

He was also great with the kids, which made a big difference for us. They really liked Brandon and stayed interested throughout the day, which isn't always easy when you're sightseeing with children!

Having someone else handle the driving and logistics meant we could just relax and enjoy the scenery. Yosemite is obviously spectacular, but having a guide who knows where to go and how to pace the day made the whole experience much easier.

It was a full day and we were definitely tired by the time we got back, but it was the good kind of tired. Yosemite should be on everyone's bucket list, and we're really glad we got to experience it this way.

Thank you, Brandon, for an amazing tour!

We recently booked a private tour of Yosemite National Park with Yosemite Private Tours, and our guide was Brandon. We were very fortunate to have him assigned to us. His knowledge of Yosemite is truly exceptional.

We took the three-day tour and were extremely pleased with the service Brandon provided throughout. He quickly assessed our hiking abilities and recommended trails accordingly. He guided us to the best viewpoints and photo opportunities for nearly all of the park’s natural features.

Brandon carefully planned our itinerary to avoid the largest crowds during the busiest times and offered thoughtful suggestions for dining. He even provided the option of a mid-day break if we wanted one.

He is personable, easy to talk to, and generously shares his extensive knowledge of Yosemite. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Brandon as a guide — you won’t find anyone better.

Yosemite Unplugged: The Perfect Four-Day Adventure

Steven Petzer

Our family had an amazing four days exploring Yosemite National Park with Yosemite Private Tours. Our guide, Brandon, was knowledgeable, energetic, an avid hiker, and just a great person to spend four days with. Thanks to his experience and knowledge of the park, we were able to see and experience so much more than we ever could have on our own.

Brandon’s local knowledge made the whole trip easy and stress-free. He knew exactly where to go and when to go to find the best views while avoiding the crowds. The entire team at Yosemite Private Tours was excellent and made us feel well taken care of throughout the trip.

Steven Petzer tour photo

The highlight for us was the hike up the Upper Yosemite Falls Trail to Yosemite Point. The views were absolutely incredible and made all the effort worth it.

If you’re looking for an adventure in Yosemite that goes beyond the usual tourist stops, we highly recommend Yosemite Private Tours. It was truly a Yosemite journey we’ll never forget.

A Great Private Yosemite Trip with Brandon

Lisa, Cooper & Brett McSweeney

We had a fantastic time in Yosemite with Brandon as our private guide. He knows the park incredibly well and had lots of interesting information about the history, wildlife, and scenery. He was also easy to get along with and had a great sense of humor, which made the long days much more enjoyable.

What we really liked about having a private guide was the flexibility. We had a few things we particularly wanted to see, and Brandon was happy to adjust the itinerary around our interests. We got to see the well-known places, but also came across some quieter spots that we probably wouldn't have found on our own.

It was also nice not having to stick to the pace of a big group. We could stop for photos, spend a little longer somewhere, or move on when we were ready.

One small thing worth mentioning is that the SUV was a little tight for four people with all our luggage. With the bags in the back, three of us were in the second row, so it was definitely cosy, and the person in the middle didn't have the best view. That said, it was a minor issue and didn't take away from the trip.

Brandon was the real highlight. He was knowledgeable, patient, funny, and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. We all really enjoyed having him with us.

We'd definitely recommend Brandon for anyone looking for a private and flexible way to experience Yosemite.

Theresa , Bahnick,

Theresa , Bahnick,

Absolutely amazing experience at Yosemite made better by our personal tour guide, Brandon and the staff at Yosemite Private Tours. Being our first time at Yosemite it was overwhelming to organize the best options. YPT took care of every detail! We began with great accommodations at the Yosemite View Lodge then picked up by Brandon for the next 2 days of touring in a comfortable SUV. Brandon knows the park well and provided much insight to the many parts of it. We asked if we could skip the car and rent bikes for touring the lower portion of the park and he was ready to do whatever we wanted. It was a great way to see everything in the lower portion! I would highly recommend Yosemite Private Tours! They do all the thinking so you can enjoy the beauty of this amazing place.

A Long Day Trip to Yosemite — But Worth It

Levi Williams

We had a fabulous day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park with Thomas and Adam in a private large van. We only had one day available because we were flying out of SFO the next day to Las Vegas.

It was a long day, with quite a bit of driving, but honestly, Yosemite was worth the time and money. The scenery was amazing, and we're really glad we made the trip even though we were on a tight schedule.

Hopefully we'll get the chance to come back one day and spend more time in the park. There is so much more we'd like to see.

Helping Mom Check Yosemite Off Her Bucket List

Andy Jordan

We took our 91-year-old mother to Yosemite to check it off her bucket list, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better guide than Brandon.

We spent five days in the park and enjoyed every minute of it. The most important thing for us was making sure Mom could enjoy the trip without pushing herself too hard, and Brandon was excellent at finding the right hikes and activities for what she could comfortably handle.

He was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Yosemite. He shared plenty of information along the way, but what really stood out was how much he cared about making the trip enjoyable for all of us.

Brandon was much more than just a driver. He was with us throughout the days, helped us figure things out, and was always looking out for Mom. By the time our five days were over, it honestly felt like he had become part of the family.

Seeing Mom finally get to experience Yosemite was something we'll never forget, and Brandon played a big part in making it such a special trip.

We're very glad we booked with them and would happily recommend Brandon to anyone planning a Yosemite trip.

He shared fascinating history along the way and knows the area’s flora and fauna incredibly well.

Lake Tahoe Private Tour Review by Denise Lanze from Excelsior, MN

Our 2-day Lake Tahoe private tour was everything we hoped for and more

If you’ve never been to Lake Tahoe, this destination is a must-see. We traveled from San Francisco in a luxury black SUV and made several scenic and historic stops along the way, including charming old mining towns.

Brandon, our private guide, went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. He took us to breathtaking viewpoints on both the Nevada and California sides of Lake Tahoe, arranged fantastic dining experiences, captured beautiful photos for us, and made sure we enjoyed a completely stress-free getaway. His knowledge of the area and attention to detail really set this tour apart.

Our hotel was excellent — top amenities, a cozy atmosphere, and a spectacular lake-view sunset right from our room. South Lake Tahoe also offered plenty of nightlife, live shows, and evening entertainment, making the experience even more memorable.

We absolutely plan to return. If you're looking for a luxury, worry-free Lake Tahoe tour, this company delivers an unforgettable experience.

We spent three days in Yosemite with Gerard and Adam, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and memorable trips we have ever taken.

We really didn’t know what to expect from a trip to Yosemite National Park in the spring, but it was amazing. There were hardly any crowds, and everywhere we looked there seemed to be another waterfall. Yosemite Valley had quite a bit of water when we visited, which created some incredible reflections of El Capitan and Half Dome. We took so many photos, although I’m not sure any of them really captured what it felt like to actually be there.

Gerard and Adam worked really well together. They knew the park so well that we never felt like we were following a rushed schedule. We could take our time, stop whenever we wanted, and simply enjoy the scenery. It was a very different experience from the busy pace of Tokyo, and that’s exactly what we were looking for.

Amazing 6-Day Yosemite & Lake Tahoe Combo Tour with Brandon

First, we apologize for the delay in submitting this review — there was a bit of confusion among our group about who would do it!

Booking a private tour with Yosemite Private Tours and having Brandon as our guide was the best decision we could have made. It was a family trip with six of us — a couple with two children (ages 9 and 11) and a senior couple — to Yosemite Falls and Lake Tahoe, and everything was exceptional.

Brandon went out of his way to make us feel heard and accommodated. Our luxury van was comfortable and cool on hot summer afternoons and had plenty of room for snacks and gear for later in the day. Brandon’s extensive knowledge of Yosemite’s history, landmarks, and hidden gems ensured we hit the best spots for incredible views and countless photos. The schedule was customized to fit our interests, and we even discovered a unique opportunity to see part of Yosemite from the river in a small raft. Brandon added this to our excursion and even helped Grandpa row, which made it one of our favorite experiences.

Both hotels were fantastic. Our first hotel had a balcony overlooking the river — waking up to the sound of flowing water was so peaceful. The kids loved the pool and game room, and Brandon even joined us for a few rounds of ping pong after hours, which was so thoughtful.

The drive to Lake Tahoe was perfectly broken up with photo stops, food breaks, and bathroom stops. Lake Tahoe is a truly unique gem with stunning scenery and perfect weather — a must-see at least once in a lifetime.

We highly recommend this Yosemite and Lake Tahoe private tour for anyone looking for a fun, educational, and stress-free family adventure.

Thank you, Brandon and Yosemite Private Tours, for making such amazing memories possible. It was an unforgettable experience!

Sincerely,

The Weiners & Naumara

A Stress-Free Yosemite Adventure with Brandon

Susanne Webb & John Doggett

We couldn't have asked for a better three days in Yosemite. From start to finish, everything was taken care of for us. We were picked up at Fresno Airport and dropped back there three days later, so we didn't have to worry about traffic, winding mountain roads, parking, or any of the other logistics.

We were very lucky to have Brandon as our guide. He knows Yosemite extremely well and had so much interesting information about the history, wildlife, plants, and things to do in the park. He's also got a great sense of humour, which made the long days much more fun.

What we really appreciated was how flexible he was. We had a few requests of our own, and Brandon was happy to work them into the trip rather than making us stick to a rigid schedule.

The luxury SUV was spacious and very comfortable — although next time we'll definitely pack a little lighter! Our hotel was another highlight. We had a lovely room overlooking the river, and the indoor and outdoor heated pools were a real bonus after a day of exploring.

We honestly enjoyed every part of the trip, and Brandon deserves a lot of the credit. He was knowledgeable, funny, helpful, and just easy to spend three days with.

We're very glad we chose to see Yosemite this way. If you're looking for a private trip where you can relax and let someone else handle the details, we'd definitely recommend it.

A Great Father-Son Trip to Yosemite

Oliver Cutbill

I recently spent two days in Yosemite with my dad, Paul, and we had a fantastic time. Brandon was our guide, and he made the whole trip very easy from the start. He knew the park extremely well and had plenty of interesting things to tell us without turning it into a lecture.

The highlight for both of us was the hike along the Mist Trail to Vernal Fall. It was a good workout, but completely worth it. The scenery along the way was brilliant, and it was one of those hikes we'll probably be talking about for a while.

The following day, I had some extra time with Brandon and we went biking around Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I saw far more of the park than I ever would have managed on my own, and it was a great way to finish the trip.

Brandon was friendly, enthusiastic, and really knew how to make the most of the time we had. Having someone else handle the logistics meant Dad and I could just enjoy the trip.

Thanks, Brandon — great job, mate! We'd definitely recommend the tour.

Three Wonderful Days in Yosemite

Ba. Al Hamilton

We spent three days in Yosemite with Adam and honestly couldn't have asked for a better trip. We stayed at a hotel right along the Merced River, which was a lovely place to come back to after a full day out in the park. The mornings were especially nice and quiet.

Yosemite is one of those places that looks impressive in pictures, but it's completely different when you're actually standing there. Seeing El Capitan up close and hearing Yosemite Falls was something we'll remember for a long time.

We also got up early for a sunrise drive to Glacier Point, which was well worth getting out of bed for! The views were incredible. Another highlight was walking through Mariposa Grove and seeing those enormous, ancient trees.

What we liked most was the balance of the trip. We had plenty of time to explore and be active, but also time to slow down and enjoy being there.

Three days went by much too quickly. We're already talking about coming back and seeing more of the park next time.

An Excellent Day Trip to Yosemite

David Dyer

We had a great day in Yosemite with Brandon as our guide. He knew the park and the terrain extremely well and pointed out all sorts of things we would have completely missed on our own, including different birds and trees along the way.

Brandon actually arrived early and took some time to go over the plan for the day with us, which we appreciated. He was also very good about working around our walking limitations while still making sure we got to see as much of the park as possible.

Another nice surprise was that Brandon is a really good photographer. He helped us get some great photos throughout the day, including a few of us together that we wouldn't have managed to take ourselves.

It was a long day, but we never felt pushed or rushed. We saw a lot, learned quite a bit, and really enjoyed ourselves.

We'd definitely book with them again. There is still plenty of Yosemite we haven't seen yet!

Three Great Days in Yosemite with Brandon

My family and I spent three days in Yosemite with Brandon, and we really enjoyed the whole experience.

Brandon knew the park extremely well and seemed to know just where to take us, without making us feel like we were simply following a set itinerary. He was also genuinely enthusiastic about Yosemite, which made a difference. You can tell when someone really enjoys what they do.

We were interested in both nature and the history of the park, and Brandon managed to work plenty of both into our days. He was happy to answer our questions and adjust things around what we wanted to see.

Three days gave us enough time to slow down and actually enjoy Yosemite rather than trying to squeeze everything into one day. We came away with some great memories and would definitely recommend Brandon as a guide.

2-Day Private Yosemite National Park Tour — A Worry-Free Experience

Jorge Luis Lomello

We booked this private Yosemite tour with hotel accommodation included and specifically requested a Spanish-speaking guide. Our trip started and ended in San Francisco, California.

On the way to Yosemite, we stopped in Groveland, a charming little historic gold-mining town just about an hour from Yosemite Valley. We also visited the oldest saloon in California, which was a fun stop and gave us a taste of the Old West.

Once we arrived in Yosemite National Park, we explored Yosemite Valley both on foot and by car. The waterfalls were spectacular after the rain, with so much more water rushing down the cliffs. We also got to see rock climbers high up on El Capitan. It was incredible to watch them from so close!

One of our favorite moments was an unforgettable sunset in Yosemite Valley. We even found a quiet little spot near Tunnel View where we could relax and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the valley and Bridalveil Fall.

Our hotel was very comfortable, with a spacious room and beautiful views of the river. It was such a peaceful place to relax after a full day exploring Yosemite.

The next day, we visited the famous Glacier Point, where we had incredible views of Half Dome and the Vernal and Nevada Falls. After that, we took a hike to a small hidden gem that we absolutely loved.

Further south, we reached Wawona, where we went on a less-traveled hike and crossed the suspension bridge over the river. It was a completely different side of Yosemite and a great experience.

We finished our adventure at Mariposa Grove, surrounded by the Giant Sequoias. Seeing these enormous, ancient trees in person was incredible. Some are more than 3,000 years old! We even saw one of the famous sequoias with a tunnel through its trunk that is still alive.

It was truly an unforgettable experience, the kind of trip that stays with you for a long time. We would absolutely recommend this private Yosemite tour to anyone visiting California, especially if you want to see Yosemite beyond just the main viewpoints.

What an amazing Yosemite National Park tour! I have to say that our extraordinary guide, Brandon, made it possible to see in just one day all the major jewels of Yosemite — from the giant sequoias to a secret beach on the Merced River. Most of these stops would normally require two days, yet he managed to fit them in perfectly to make us happy.

Brandon is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also a super fun companion. If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate — and make sure to ask for the best: ask for Brandon.

I felt bad because I under-tipped him at the end of the tour, so I reached out afterward on WhatsApp. Luckily, he has Venmo.

Highly recommended, especially for families with kids!

We spent a couple of days at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Lake Tahoe and then continued our California trip to Yosemite National Park with our amazing guide, Nicolas.

From the moment we booked until the tour itself, we couldn’t have been happier with the service. We really enjoyed Lake Tahoe, but the highlight of the trip was definitely Yosemite.

Nicolas took us on some incredible hikes. One day, we hiked from Taft Point to Sentinel Dome via Glacier Point, and the next day we did the longer hike to Cathedral Lakes. The scenery was absolutely incredible. You really have to see Yosemite with your own eyes because photos simply don’t do it justice.

Nicolas was fantastic throughout the trip. He was knowledgeable, professional, and, most importantly, really focused on making sure we enjoyed ourselves.

This is a very trustworthy company with top-notch guides. It’s rare these days to find a tour company that genuinely makes the experience about the clients. They really listened to what we wanted and made the trip our own.

We would definitely recommend them and hope to come back someday!

4-Day Private Yosemite Tour from San Francisco — A Family Adventure

Penelope Alba

Our son was spending the summer at Stanford through the Stanford Summer Session, so we figured we might as well take advantage of being in California and see as much as we could. We ended up booking several tours with this company, including their Silicon Valley tech tour and the San Francisco and Alcatraz combination. We had Luis, who is from Argentina, and Buddy as our guides, and both were wonderful. They also spoke fluent Spanish, which made everything so much easier for us.

Then came our 4-day Yosemite adventure, hotel included. We weren't sure how that was going to go because our kids aren't exactly fans of long drives or spending hours in a car. But honestly, they surprised us. They enjoyed the trip much more than we expected.

Penelope Alba tour photo

Adam was our Yosemite guide, and he speaks fluent Spanish too. He had a really good way of keeping everyone involved, especially the kids. He knew when to stop, when to keep moving, and how to make the drive and sightseeing interesting. Before we knew it, another day had gone by.

And Yosemite? Wow. We knew it was supposed to be beautiful, but pictures really don't prepare you for being there. We saw mountain lakes, waterfalls, wildlife, enormous granite cliffs, and even climbers working their way up El Capitan. There was always something new around the next corner.

Adam also took so many great pictures of us along the way. That was a nice bonus because we could actually enjoy the scenery instead of constantly worrying about getting the perfect shot ourselves.

The Giant Sequoias were another highlight. Standing next to trees that have been alive for thousands of years is hard to describe. They're absolutely massive, but there's also something almost peaceful about being around them.

We came home with hundreds of pictures, but honestly, the best memories aren't the ones on our phones. They're the things we can still picture in our minds. Yosemite is one of those places you really need to experience in person to understand what all the fuss is about.

Penelope Alba tour photo

Three Wonderful Days Discovering Yosemite

Cecelia Mayorga

We spent three days in Yosemite with Adam, and honestly, it was a great way to see the park for the first time.

We liked that the package took care of the details for us, including the hotel and Yosemite entrance fees. It made the trip a lot easier because we didn't have to worry about figuring everything out ourselves.

Adam really knows Yosemite and took us to many of the places we had been hoping to see. Yosemite Valley was incredible, but Glacier Point and the Giant Sequoias were probably the highlights for us. We also liked that each day felt a little different. We never had the feeling that we were being hurried along just to check places off a list.

Since this was our first visit to Yosemite, having a private guide was definitely worth it. Adam was easy to talk to, answered all our questions, and was always willing to stop and explain things along the way.

Three days went by way too fast, but we got to see so much of Yosemite. We're really glad we chose to do it this way and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the park for the first time.

Brandon Brown was our guide for a 2-day trip to Yosemite National Park, and he made our vacation truly memorable. He is extremely knowledgeable about Yosemite and shared many interesting and fun facts about the local flora.

We were able to visit all the must-see spots in the park and had an amazing time. Brandon also took some incredible photos, which we will cherish for years to come.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend Yosemite Private Tours — especially Brandon — for anyone planning a Yosemite trip.

A Great Two Days in Yosemite

Chakshuv Khurana

We had a really enjoyable two-day group tour to Yosemite by minibus. Adam was our guide, and he was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to get along with.

Chakshuv Khurana tour photo

He shared lots of interesting stories and little details about Yosemite that we wouldn't have known otherwise. It made the drive and the time in the park much more interesting, rather than just stopping at the usual viewpoints.

We also had a really good vegetarian dinner at an Indian restaurant near Yosemite, which was a lovely surprise and a nice way to finish the day.

Chakshuv Khurana tour photo

Overall, we were very happy with the trip. Adam made everything easy and enjoyable, and we saw much more than we would have managed on our own.

10/10 from us. We'd happily do it again.

An Unforgettable Yosemite Experience with Adam

Neha Goyal

Yosemite was absolutely amazing, and our guide, Adam, made the trip truly special. He explained everything in detail, offered extra time on the tour, and took us to places not usually included on standard tours. We’ve traveled with many companies before, but this one stands out for its expertise, reliability, and dedication to meeting customer expectations.

Neha Goyal tour photo

Our hotel was perfect — just a 10-minute drive from Yosemite Valley. We saw it all, from the waterfalls to the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove, and Glacier Point. Adam even brought us to an incredible spot to watch one of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen — photos simply don’t do it justice.

Totally worth the money and completely trustworthy. Highly recommended!

An Unforgettable Two Days in Yosemite

VJ (Vishwajeet) Srivastava

We had a fantastic two days in Yosemite with Adam as our guide. The trip was tailored around what we wanted to see, which made a big difference and allowed us to enjoy the park at our own pace.

Adam was great throughout the trip. He shared lots of interesting information about the park, answered all our questions, and even took loads of photos of us along the way. That was especially nice because we actually have plenty of pictures of the two of us together, rather than the usual holiday photos where one person is always missing!

Adam was friendly, helpful, and clearly knows Yosemite extremely well. He made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and we never felt rushed.

Looking back, having Adam as our guide was a big part of what made the trip so memorable. We would definitely recommend him to anyone planning a visit to Yosemite.

We had a really enjoyable Yosemite trip with Adam as our guide. From the beginning, everything felt well organised, and we always felt we were in good hands.

Adam was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. He knew the park extremely well and made sure we got to see the places we were most interested in without making the day feel rushed or overly planned.

What we appreciated most was how easy he made everything for us. We could simply enjoy Yosemite, take pictures, ask questions, and take in the scenery without worrying about the driving or logistics.

We had a fantastic day in Yosemite with Adam as our guide. He knew the park very well and made sure we got to see all the main places we wanted to visit without feeling rushed.

One thing that really stood out was his eye for photography. He seemed to know exactly where to stop for the best views and helped us get some great photos along the way. We came home with some beautiful pictures that will definitely remind us of the trip.

A great 2-day Yosemite winter escape from San Francisco

Umberto Group

We were in San Francisco for a business convention and had two days free, so we decided to take a break from the city and visit Yosemite with our spouses. We’re really glad we did.

Umberto Group tour photo

The winter scenery was incredible. Yosemite Valley was beautiful with the snow, and even though it was cold, the fact that there were fewer people made the experience even better. It felt very peaceful and completely different from what we expected.

The hike to see the giant sequoias in the snow was definitely an adventure. Walking through the snow and seeing those enormous trees in person was one of the highlights of the trip.

Umberto Group tour photo

What we liked most was how easy everything was. We didn't have to worry about transportation, hotel reservations, driving, or trying to figure out what to do with our limited time. Everything was organized for us, which was especially nice since we were already busy with our convention.

It was a great way to spend our two days away from the business trip. Yosemite in winter is definitely worth experiencing.

Highly recommended!

5-Day Yosemite Private Tour from New York – Guest Review

Joe M. Bennett

We found Yosemite Private Tours online while planning our trip from New York, and choosing them turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. A trip to Yosemite is a pretty big investment when you're coming all the way from New York, so we wanted to make sure it was worth it. It absolutely was.

Our guide, Leo, was terrific. He had a great knowledge of Yosemite and the surrounding area, but what really stood out was how easily he adjusted things around what we wanted to do. He never made us feel like we were simply following a set schedule.

Leo picked us up right on time at our hotel in Oakland, and after five days together, he dropped us off at our hotel in San Francisco. That's a lot of driving and a lot of time together, including the four-hour drives each way, but it honestly never felt like work. By the end of the trip, it felt a little like we were traveling around with our own adult son.

He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Leo knew the history of Yosemite, the different areas of the park, the surrounding towns, and all kinds of little details that made the sightseeing much more interesting. He also had some good recommendations for places to eat, which is always appreciated after a full day out.

Five days gave us plenty of time to really experience Yosemite instead of just rushing through the major sights. If you're planning on doing some walking or hiking, definitely bring a good pair of walking shoes. And if you're looking for something more adventurous or have specific things you want to do, I'd suggest talking with the company ahead of time. They were very helpful in working things out for us.

We're really glad we made the trip and even happier that we chose Yosemite Private Tours. Leo made a wonderful trip feel like a very personal one, and that's something we'll remember for a long time.

Nine Days: San Francisco, Monterey, Hearst Castle, Mammoth Lakes & Yosemite

We actually waited a couple of weeks before writing this review because we wanted to let the trip sink in. Nine days is a lot to take in, and looking back, we still can't believe how much we managed to see.

The trip started with a full day in San Francisco with Mary, who was both our driver and guide and is a San Francisco native. Having someone who actually knows the city made a big difference, and we saw quite a bit in one day.

Then we had Adam for three days around Monterey and Carmel. Somehow, he even managed to get us right by the 18th green at Pebble Beach during a PGA event — without passes! I'm still not quite sure how we pulled that one off. As a golf fan, that was a pretty special moment, and we got a fantastic photo out of it.

Richard and Karen Wild tour photo

After that, Leo took us along the coast and past Big Sur, including a visit to Hearst Castle. It was a completely different part of California again, and we really enjoyed it.

The last part of the trip was more than three days around Yosemite and across the Sierra. Yosemite is hard to describe until you've actually been there. We saw giant sequoias, bears in the meadows, waterfalls, alpine lakes and plenty of snow up in the higher country. Every day seemed to bring something different.

We had quite a long list of things we wanted to see before the trip even started, and all three guides were remarkably good at working around it. They were also very generous with their time. More than once, the day went well beyond the hours we had originally planned.

There were certainly some long days, but we never felt that we were simply being driven from one place to another. We had time to stop, take pictures and enjoy things along the way.

Looking back now, we saw far more than we expected when we booked the trip. It was a big itinerary, but it worked, and we're very glad we did it this way.

“Unforgettable Private Yosemite Experience with an Expert Guide”

Miguel Carvalho

We took a day trip to Yosemite as a family (a group of three) and had the privilege of having Brandon as our guide. The experience couldn’t have been better. From the start, Brandon was extremely attentive, always mindful of the details, and possessed a deep knowledge of Yosemite.

He made a genuine effort to meet our needs and offered very useful tips—not only about what to visit, but also regarding meals, breaks, and the best places to rest. Throughout the trip from San Francisco to Yosemite and back, he shared fascinating information about the park, as well as the local fauna, flora, and landmarks along the way.

He also proved to be an excellent driver, providing a safe and comfortable ride. Brandon was always punctual and, even before the trip, sent helpful tips to ensure we were fully prepared for our day.

Without a doubt, we highly recommend Brandon to anyone seeking an enriching, safe, and personalized Yosemite experience!

A Wonderful Two Days in Yosemite with Leo

Kathy G.

Our Yosemite experience was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met our guide, Leo, we had a feeling we were going to have a great adventure.

The drive from our hotel in San Francisco to Yosemite was part of the experience. Leo knew exactly where to stop along the way, including interesting historical spots and a great place to pick up some delicious sandwiches. He was also incredibly patient with all of our questions and was happy to share his knowledge with us.

Once we arrived in Yosemite, it was obvious that Leo really knows the park and loves what he does. He shared so much interesting information about Yosemite’s history, including the impact of wildfires and insects, as well as the ongoing efforts to protect and restore the park.

He also seemed to know all the best places for photos and short hikes. We saw some truly spectacular scenery and never felt like we were simply being taken from one viewpoint to another. Leo took the time to make sure we actually enjoyed each place we visited.

He even helped us with our luggage, which was such a thoughtful extra touch.

Looking back, the two days we spent in Yosemite were definitely one of the highlights of our trip to California. Leo made everything easy, relaxed, and enjoyable, and his knowledge and friendly personality made a big difference.

Five stars without hesitation! Thank you, Leo, for helping turn our Yosemite visit into a lifetime memory.

Tom was fantastic and deserves a 10-star review!

Randi Kamen and family

We had the most amazing time. He was very courteous. He was also very knowledgeable and continually spoke about points of interest on our travel to and from Yosemite, as well as a very comprehensive guiding tour while in the Park itself. We felt very taken care of as he made sure all our needs were met. He was incredible when it came to taking pictures. We found this extra special. He brought us to majestic areas and continually asked for our cameras (we had 3) so we would have family pictures and memories for a lifetime. I asked if there was a waterfall we could view; Tom went out of his way to find me one. We found him to be a lovely, warm gentleman that enjoyed what he did and most of all made sure he created a beautiful day. We still are talking about it. We have traveled many places and have had many tour guides. Tom is a gem and we were very lucky!! He made our trip to Yosemite truly amazing!! All that are lucky enough to book your tour and have Tom as their guide will be guaranteed a fabulous trip!!

A Great Family Trip to Yosemite

Jerry and Family

Our son and daughter absolutely loved the 2-day trip to Yosemite. We booked it about seven months in advance and only had to pay a deposit to hold the reservation, which made planning everything pretty easy for us.

We were lucky with the timing because Glacier Point Road had just reopened for the season when we arrived. That ended up being our favourite part of the whole trip. The views were incredible, and it was one of those moments when you just stop for a while and take it all in.

Having everything arranged for us was a big plus, especially with the kids. We didn't have to worry about driving, reservations, park fees, or figuring out what to do each day. We could just enjoy the trip and spend time together.

All in all, it was a fantastic family experience. The kids came home talking about Yosemite nonstop, so I'd say it was a pretty big success!

2-Day Private Yosemite Tour from Groveland — A Great Yosemite Adventure

The Jamesons

We spent two days exploring Yosemite with Peter as our guide, starting out from Groveland, and it ended up being a really enjoyable part of our trip.

Peter was easy to get along with from the moment we met him. He was relaxed, friendly, and knew the area extremely well. We asked a lot of questions along the way, and he was always happy to explain things or point out something we probably would have missed on our own.

Two days doesn't sound like a lot of time in a place as big as Yosemite, but we were surprised by how much we managed to see and do. It felt more like a fun little adventure than a typical sightseeing tour, and there was always something different around the next stop.

We actually found the company through TripAdvisor, so we weren't completely sure what to expect when we booked. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great choice.

Peter made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and we'd have no hesitation recommending the company to anyone planning a trip to Yosemite.

A Wonderful Four-Day Yosemite Experience

Theresa B.K.

We spent four days exploring Yosemite with Nicolas, starting and ending at Fresno International Airport. We were travelling with our mom, who is quite elderly and moves at a slower pace, so finding a private tour that could accommodate her was very important to us.

Nicolas was exactly the kind of guide we needed. He was patient, accommodating, and very knowledgeable, and he never made us feel like we were holding anyone up. He adjusted the days around our mom's pace while still making sure we got to see and enjoy many of Yosemite's highlights.

Staying at The Ahwahnee was also a wonderful choice. It gave us a comfortable place to relax and unwind after our days in the park.

Overall, it was a five-star experience for our family. Nicolas took excellent care of us, and having everything arranged made the trip much more relaxing. We could focus on enjoying Yosemite and spending time together rather than worrying about the driving or logistics.

We would definitely recommend Yosemite Private Tours and would happily book with them again.

A Fantastic Family Trip to Yosemite

Joanna and Roger J.

We booked the 2-day Yosemite tour and had Adam as our guide. We honestly had such a good time.

We were a little worried about the long drive, especially because our son Jack can get pretty cranky when he's stuck in the car for too long. But, surprisingly, he was happy most of the time and stayed interested in everything we were seeing, which was a big win for us!

Joanna and Roger J. tour photo

Adam was great with all of us, especially Jack. He kept things fun and interesting without making us feel like we were on a strict schedule. We managed to see a lot of Yosemite in just two days — probably more than we expected — and still had time to stop for pictures, walk around and take in the scenery.

Jack hasn't stopped talking about Yosemite — or Adam — since we got home, which probably says it all.

Roger, Jack and I are really glad we decided to make the trip. Two days went by quickly, but we felt like we got a lot out of it. We came home tired, but in a good way, with some really great memories.

Definitely a trip we're happy we did.

My wife and I did a day trip to Yosemite with John as our guide, and we had a really good time. It was a long day from San Francisco, but we felt it was well worth the drive.

John was friendly, easy to talk to, and knew the park really well. He took us to several beautiful spots and gave us plenty of time to get out, walk around, and take pictures. We never felt like we were being hurried along.

Yosemite was even more impressive than we expected. There is so much to see, and having John handle the driving made the whole day much easier for us.

We're really glad we decided to make the trip. It was a lovely day and one we'll remember from our time in California.

Hidden Gems and Beautiful Places in Yosemite

Barbara Mohler

Our guide, Brandon, took us to so many beautiful spots around Yosemite that we never would have found on our own. He really knew the park and had a great sense of where to go.

We covered a lot of ground and even came across a few quieter spots where we hardly saw anyone else. That was probably one of my favourite parts — getting to enjoy Yosemite without always being surrounded by crowds.

It was a great way to see more of the park and discover some places we would have completely missed on our own.

A Wonderful Private Yosemite Day Tour

Suda Srisueb

We booked a private day tour to Yosemite National Park with this tour company in an SUV, and they even upgraded us to a 15-seater black high-top van. Mary and Adam were our guides.

Along the way, we stopped at several interesting places for coffee and meals, and we even visited a hidden waterfall that was off the usual tourist path.

Suda Srisueb tour photo

Once we arrived in Yosemite Valley, we explored many of the park's famous landmarks, from waterfalls and rivers to towering cliffs, tunnels, deep canyons, and so many other beautiful natural landscapes.

Yosemite really is a temple of nature and was well worth the trip.

Adam doesn't speak Thai, but he did his best to help our family understand the history and stories of California and Yosemite National Park using an automatic English-to-Thai translation system. Adam probably needs to improve his Thai a little more — just kidding!

Overall, we give this tour 5 stars! If we have the opportunity, we will definitely use their services again.

Back Again — Another Great Trip with Adam

Audrey Leandri

This is actually the second time in two years that we've travelled with this tour company, which probably says enough about how happy we were the first time!

On both trips, we had Buddy and Adam as our guides, and they were both wonderful. They speak French fluently, which made things much easier for us and was something we really appreciated.

This time it was just the two of us, and we did a 2-day trip to Yosemite with Adam. As always, Adam was great. He really goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, but without making you feel like you're on a strict schedule or rushing from one place to the next.

We were amazed by Yosemite all over again. It was also nice to experience it just the two of us this time, without having the whole family along.

We spent some time in Napa Valley as well and had a lovely gourmet meal at Auberge du Soleil. That was a really nice addition to the trip and made the whole getaway feel a bit more special.

Two trips in two years, and we've been happy both times. I'm sure it won't be our last!

A Great Family Trip from Texas

Jennifer M.

This was a three-generation family trip for us — Texas, San Francisco, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe all in four days. Getting everyone together isn't always easy, so the fact that we all came home happy probably says a lot!

If you haven't been to Lake Tahoe in winter, it's really something. It was beautiful, and I think it ended up being one of the highlights for everyone. Yosemite was amazing too, of course, and there was something for all of us to enjoy, from the youngest to the oldest.

We did have one little mishap along the way — we managed to lose a camera somewhere on the trip. Thankfully, everything had been backed up to iCloud, so at least we didn't lose the pictures. And there were some really good ones!

Four days went by incredibly quickly, but we really enjoyed having that time together as a family. Three generations on one trip can be quite a lot to organise, but somehow we pulled it off. Everyone had a great time, and that's what mattered most.

3-Day Private Yosemite Tour from San Francisco — Sample Review

Don Hayes

My husband and I really enjoyed our three-day private trip to Yosemite. We were looking for a few days away from the usual routine and somewhere we could just slow down and enjoy ourselves.

The private tour worked really well for us. We weren't part of a large group, so we could take our time, stop when we wanted, and enjoy the park without constantly feeling like we had to move on to the next stop. We did some lovely walks, saw some amazing scenery, and had a really good time together.

We stayed at the Ahwahnee, which was definitely one of the highlights. It's a beautiful old hotel, and being right in Yosemite Valley made the whole stay feel like a proper getaway rather than just another stop on a holiday.

We live in Georgia, and with the big golf tournament taking place, we normally rent out our home to golfers who come into the area. So, in a funny way, this gave us the perfect excuse to get out of town ourselves for a few days! It was actually just what we needed.

Three days was a good amount of time. We got to see quite a bit without feeling that we were rushing around all day. We came home feeling refreshed and very glad we made the trip.

A really lovely experience and a great little escape for the two of us.

Tour Privado de 3 Días por Yosemite – Guía en Español y Secuoyas Gigantes

Eusebi Matino

2-Day Yosemite Tour from San Francisco with Hotel Stay

Jessica K.

We really enjoyed our two-day trip to Yosemite from San Francisco. For us, staying overnight made a big difference. It gave us more time in the park, and we didn't have to worry about finding a hotel or organizing all the little details ourselves.

Adam was our guide, and we got on with him really well. He was friendly, knew the area, and was easy to spend the day with. He took us to some beautiful spots in Yosemite and gave us plenty of time to get out, take photos, have a look around, and just enjoy being there. Nothing felt rushed.

Yosemite itself is something else. We're definitely glad we stayed the night rather than trying to squeeze everything into a day trip from San Francisco. It made the whole experience feel much more relaxed.

All in all, it was an easy and enjoyable trip, and having someone else handle the driving and planning was a big plus for us. We'd happily recommend it to anyone staying in San Francisco who wants to see Yosemite without having to sort everything out themselves.

Yosemite 3-Day Private Tour from Spain – Spanish-Speaking Guide & Giant Sequoias

Nothing but good things to say about this tour company and their staff. Our 3-day Yosemite trip went very well, and we especially enjoyed having Adam as our guide. He is very experienced and, being Spanish-speaking, made everything much easier and more enjoyable for us.

Yosemite National Park is definitely a must-see and, in our opinion, well worth the trip and the money. What has really stayed with us are the enormous giant sequoias. We are still talking about how massive these trees are and how they can still be standing after so many centuries. One of them is said to be more than 3,000 years old, which is quite incredible when you actually stand next to it.

The whole experience was very enjoyable, and we were very happy with the organisation and the staff. A trip we will remember for a long time.

A Special Day in Yosemite

Lorea M. Aramburo

We did a day trip to Yosemite National Park from San Francisco as part of our honeymoon, and it turned out to be such a lovely day.

Adam was our guide, and he was fantastic. We had a list of things we really wanted to see, and somehow we managed to fit everything in without ever feeling rushed.

One of the nicest surprises was hiking out to a grove of giant sequoias. We weren't expecting to have time for that, so it was a real bonus. While we were there, we met a very tall park ranger who took the time to talk with us and explain some of the history and mystery surrounding these enormous trees.

It was a long day, but absolutely worth it. Yosemite was beautiful, and having Adam with us made everything so much easier. Definitely a day we'll remember from our honeymoon.

When an Unexpected Change Became a Highlight

Jean-Jacques Jegou

I took my granddaughter and grandson on a trip to California, starting in Los Angeles and travelling up to San Francisco, where we joined this multi-day trip to Yosemite National Park.

We stayed at Tenaya Lodge, and on the first day we visited Mariposa Grove and Glacier Point. Everything was going very well, but then, on the second day, a fire broke out nearby and our plans suddenly had to change.

Jean-Jacques Jegou tour photo

Adam, our French-speaking guide, handled the situation brilliantly. Rather than letting it spoil our trip, he took us all the way to Mammoth Lakes, well away from the fire. We stayed in a lovely luxury hotel with a beautiful view and, to be honest, we were really taken with Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra.

The scenery reminded us a little of northern Italy and Switzerland — absolutely breathtaking. We were also very lucky with the weather, with blue skies and beautiful conditions.

What impressed me most was how Adam and the company dealt with the change. When you're travelling, things don't always go according to plan. They found a solution quickly, and somehow what could have been a disappointment became one of the highlights of our trip.

Jean-Jacques Jegou tour photo

If you're looking for a professional company that knows how to handle the unexpected, I would certainly recommend them. We came away with some wonderful memories, and most importantly, the grandchildren were very happy with their adventure!

It was such a good mix of beautiful scenery, getting out and exploring, and having a bit of adventure along the way. The boys especially loved the hiking and hot springs, and we all enjoyed seeing parts of the area that felt a little off the beaten track.

We honestly couldn't have been happier that we booked this tour. It was one of the highlights of our time in California and gave us some wonderful memories together as a family.

Would definitely recommend it!

The Sequoias in Winter Were Something Else

Mary and Germaine A.

We went to Yosemite in winter with a group of colleagues for two days. We knew the park would be beautiful, but we really weren't prepared for the giant sequoias covered in snow.

Those trees are huge anyway, but seeing the red bark against all that white was something else. They almost didn't look real. We took loads of pictures, although to be honest, the photos don't really show what they looked like in person.

We had a great time with our group and really enjoyed the couple of days in Yosemite. But the sequoias in the snow? That was definitely the bit we'll remember. What a sight!

An Amazing Multi-Day Yosemite Experience with Brandon

Felipe Jubay & Friends

We booked a multi-day private trip to Yosemite with a group of friends and family, and it turned out to be exactly the kind of getaway we needed—a wonderful break from work and everyday life, without having to worry about driving, planning, or keeping track of every little detail.

From the beginning, the experience was easy and well organized. We appreciated the flexible payment options and the convenience of staying at a hotel near Yosemite Valley, which made getting into the park each day very easy.

The highlight of the trip, without a doubt, was our guide, Brandon Brown. He was probably one of the best all-around guides we've ever had on a trip. Brandon was dependable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely considerate of everyone in our group.

What impressed us most was his patience. We spent quite a bit of time at some of the viewpoints and scenic areas taking pictures, enjoying the scenery, and simply taking in Yosemite. Brandon never made us feel rushed or complained about the time. He understood that everyone wanted to enjoy the experience at their own pace.

With a larger group, keeping everyone together and organized can be challenging, but Brandon handled it exceptionally well. He made sure everyone was safe whenever we stopped and kept the itinerary moving without making the day feel rigid or stressful. We always felt comfortable with him, both while exploring the park and during the long drives.

Brandon also knows Yosemite extremely well. He shared interesting information, stories, and local knowledge throughout the trip, while giving us plenty of time to simply enjoy the incredible scenery. He showed us beautiful viewpoints and locations that we probably would not have discovered on our own.

One small suggestion for the company would be to consider providing guides with a hands-free headset or communication system. On some of Yosemite's narrow roads, where there are limited guardrails, this could make it easier for the guide to communicate with passengers while keeping both hands safely on the wheel.

Other than that, we really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Brandon's positive attitude, patience, and happy personality made the entire trip more enjoyable, and everyone in our group had a wonderful time.

We're already hoping to return to Yosemite someday—and if we do, we'd be absolutely delighted to see Brandon's smiling face again!

Thank you, Brandon, for helping make our Yosemite adventure such a memorable experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone planning a private Yosemite trip.

A True Winter Wonderland in Tahoe & Yosemite

Rocio M. Esquivel

Coming from Panama to California, we'd always dreamed of seeing California in the winter, so booking this four-day Lake Tahoe and Yosemite combination tour turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.

Rocio M. Esquivel tour photo

Both Lake Tahoe and Yosemite were incredible in the winter. Snow-covered mountains, frozen landscapes, and blue skies made it feel like a real winter wonderland. It was completely different from anything we're used to back home in Panama.

Adam was an incredible guide and easily one of the best we've ever travelled with. He was knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed the trip. You could tell he really wanted us to get the most out of every day.

Rocio M. Esquivel tour photo

There is so much we could say about Adam, but he truly deserves all the wonderful reviews we've read about him. We were very lucky to have him as our guide.

California in winter is definitely a must-see, and we'd highly recommend this Tahoe and Yosemite experience. It was beautiful, memorable, and absolutely worth it!

Yosemite with a Spanish-Speaking Guide

Norma P. Fernandez

We did the 2-day Yosemite trip from San Francisco with Luis, and having the tour in Spanish made everything so much easier for us. We also found out that Luis is originally from Argentina, which was a nice surprise and made us feel comfortable with him straight away.

From the booking right through to the end of the trip, everything went smoothly. Luis was very friendly and helpful, and we felt we were in good hands the whole time. He knows Yosemite very well and was happy to explain things and answer all our questions along the way.

Yosemite is absolutely beautiful, and seeing it with someone who could show us around and explain what we were looking at made the two days even more enjoyable.

We're very happy we chose this tour. We would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone travelling from Argentina or simply looking for a good Spanish-speaking guide.

A Lovely Birthday Trip to Lake Tahoe

Hazel G. Mackenzie

I booked the 2-day Lake Tahoe tour as a birthday surprise for my husband, and I'm so glad I did. It turned out to be just the sort of little getaway we were hoping for — and, to be honest, even better than we expected.

We had a really lovely couple of days and saw some beautiful places without feeling like we were trying to fit too much in. It was a nice change from our usual routine and a lovely way to spend his birthday together.

We both came home feeling that we'd made the most of the two days. I'm very glad I booked it, and my husband was certainly happy with his birthday surprise!

Three Wonderful Days in Yosemite with a French-Speaking Guide

Corrine, Jacques & Muriel

We spent three days in Yosemite with Adam as our guide, and we were really happy with how the trip turned out. We wanted to do the tour in French, and Adam speaks French fluently, so that made things much easier for us and meant we could really enjoy the experience.

The trip actually went better than we expected. By the end of the three days, we almost felt as though we were leaving a friend behind when we said goodbye to Adam in San Francisco. He was easy to talk to, very helpful, and made everything feel relaxed and uncomplicated.

And Yosemite itself... it is not your regular national park. It is something else. Honestly, you have to see it with your own eyes to understand just how impressive it is.

On our last day, before heading back to San Francisco, we asked Adam if he knew anywhere we might have a chance of seeing a bear. We weren't really expecting anything, but then, suddenly, there we were — face to face with a medium-sized brown bear! That was quite an experience, and definitely not something we expected when we woke up that morning.

We still talk about the trip and all the things we saw. There was so much to take in that three days almost didn't feel long enough.

We really hope to come back one day and stay a little longer next time.

Thank you, Adam, for such a memorable few days. We certainly won't forget the bear!

Yosemite in Winter Is a Must-See

Carmen S. Herrero

We were a group of friends visiting San Francisco and decided to make a winter trip to Yosemite. Adam was our guide, and everything worked out very well. The van was big enough for all of us and our luggage, which was important because there were quite a few of us.

To be honest, I didn't really know what to expect from Yosemite in winter. I can't say how it compares with the park in summer, but I can say that if you have never seen Yosemite with all the winter scenery, you should definitely experience it. We absolutely loved it.

Carmen S. Herrero tour photo

The park looked completely different from what we had imagined. The winter landscapes were beautiful and made the whole visit feel quite special. It was one of the highlights of our time in California.

Adam was very good with our group and made everything easy for us. We could just enjoy the day without worrying about the driving or where to go.

We're really glad we decided to visit Yosemite in winter. We would happily do it again.

A Unique, Memorable and Fun Yosemite & Mammoth Lakes Adventure

We booked a four-day private custom tour covering Yosemite National Park and the Mammoth Lakes region. We made our booking quite late in the summer, right in the middle of peak travel season, so we honestly weren't sure what would still be available.

We were very happy that the company managed to find us lodging in Yosemite Valley at such short notice. Even better, they upgraded us at no extra charge to The Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth Lakes. Wow — what a beautiful resort!

Our guides were Leo and Adam, and we couldn't have asked for a more fun pair. They were knowledgeable, hilarious, easygoing, and very accommodating. They also did quite a few extra things for us that weren't part of the listed itinerary, which made the trip feel much more personal.

We saw lakes and places in the High Sierra that we'd only ever seen in photographs. If you've never been to the Mammoth Lakes area, it's hard to explain just how beautiful it is. We kept thinking, “Is this real?”

One of the funniest moments of the trip happened at Lake Mary. The guys arranged for us to rent a boat, which was a fantastic experience — until we managed to lose our drone in the lake! The water was absolutely freezing, and we thought we'd seen the last of it. Then Leo actually went into the water and managed to retrieve it for us. We couldn't believe it!

Our friends in Hong Kong had recommended this company after travelling with them to Lake Tahoe, Death Valley, and Yosemite the year before, and we're very glad we took their advice.

The whole trip felt like a real adventure rather than just a standard sightseeing tour. Yosemite was spectacular, but Mammoth Lakes was a wonderful surprise and probably the place we knew the least about beforehand.

If Mammoth Lakes isn't already on your bucket list, we'd say add it. It's absolutely breathtaking.

Ten stars from us — and a big thank you to Leo and Adam for going above and beyond!

A trip we will remember for a lifetime!

We had an amazing three-day adventure in Yosemite National Park, complete with hotel accommodation, and cherished every moment of it. Our hotel’s prime location along the Merced River provided a peaceful, convenient, and comfortable base for exploring the park. The amenities were excellent, including a Jacuzzi bathtub, cozy fireplace, and full kitchen—perfect for my mom’s cooking!

Located just a few miles from Yosemite Valley, it was an ideal place to stay. Yosemite’s majestic beauty truly deserves a place on everyone’s bucket list.

We were traveling with my parents, who were visiting from India, and our guide, Adam, made the entire experience unforgettable. His knowledge of Yosemite and the surrounding area really stood out. He took us to some of the park’s most spectacular landmarks, including Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, the Three Brothers, and beautiful Valley View.

We also explored the Indian Village, museums, and visitor centers, which gave us a deeper appreciation for Yosemite’s history and culture. Even though we visited in April, we experienced an incredible mix of weather and scenery—from snow and rain to sunshine and beautiful blue skies.

The Valley Loop Trail was another highlight of our trip. It gave us an immersive experience of Yosemite’s diverse landscapes and allowed us to explore areas including Yosemite Village, Swinging Bridge, Tunnel View, Merced Canyon, Wildcat Falls, Cascade Falls, and Hetch Hetchy Valley.

On our final day, we enjoyed a scenic drive along the Merced River, followed by a picnic in historic Mariposa. From there, we traveled through California’s Central Valley, passing beautiful almond, pistachio, peach, and citrus orchards.

The drive through the coastal ranges, alongside rivers and lakes, was a wonderful way to end our adventure before returning toward Silicon Valley through Gilroy.

From the scenery and accommodations to our wonderful guide and the time spent together as a family, this was truly an unforgettable Yosemite experience.

Amazing Yosemite Experience — Best Yosemite Private Tour

My Mum and I had an absolutely brilliant day in Yosemite, and Leo was the perfect guide to have with us.

Even though we only had one day, we managed to see so many of the highlights. Leo made sure we had plenty of stops along the way to take in the mountains and waterfalls and, of course, take lots of photos.

He was extremely knowledgeable about Yosemite, the sights along the way, and even San Francisco. What I really appreciated was that he was always thinking about what we might enjoy and adjusting the day around us. We never felt like we were simply following a set itinerary.

And on top of all the amazing scenery, we genuinely had a lot of fun. Leo was great company and made what could have been a very long day feel easy and enjoyable.

It was an amazing trip with a great company and a fantastic guide. My only regret is that we didn't have longer!

Highly Recommend Yosemite Private Tours

Leo was amazing. Our tour was very relaxed, but we still managed to see loads of places. We visited all the main attractions, but did it in the comfort of an SUV rather than being packed onto a big bus. We also had time for some really good hikes.

The accommodation at The View Lodge was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a river-view room, and it was actually better than our room in San Francisco!

What we really liked was the pace of the trip. We never felt rushed, and Leo always made sure we were comfortable. He was also full of interesting information about Yosemite that we would have missed if we'd been travelling on our own or with a large group.

Another nice touch was being able to customise our pickup times. It made the whole experience feel much more personal and suited to us.

We enjoyed every moment and really made the most of our time in Yosemite. Thanks, Leo!

An Authentic and Outstanding Lake Tahoe & Yosemite Adventure

From our first contact with Yosemite Private Tours through their online live chat to the actual trip, everything went very smoothly. The booking process was easy, and the customer service was excellent. They were quick to answer all our questions, even when we contacted them late at night, which gave us a lot of confidence before the trip.

Our guide, Adam, was passionate, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to travel with. We spent our time exploring the High Sierra and enjoyed every minute of it. Yosemite is an incredible place, especially if you're interested in nature, geology, and wildlife.

One of the biggest surprises was coming across a bear near the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove. That was certainly not something we expected! Taft Point and Glacier Point were both spectacular, but we would also recommend taking the Tioga Road through the Tuolumne Meadows area if conditions allow.

On the way to Lake Tahoe, we stopped at the Mono Lake Visitor Center and had a good look at the unusual tufa towers. It was something completely different from Yosemite.

Lake Tahoe was another highlight. We were getting a little tired by then, so having the 4x4 SUV was a real advantage. We could reach places that would have required considerably more walking in a larger vehicle.

Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and Adam made a big difference. We'd happily recommend the company.

We enjoyed the trip so much that we also booked a separate day trip to Yosemite Valley. It was a long drive from the San Francisco Bay Area, but once we got there, we had a great time exploring the park.

Awesome Ski Trip to Lake Tahoe from San Francisco

While visiting friends in San Francisco, we decided to spend a day skiing in Tahoe with Yosemite Private Tours. We weren't disappointed.

Adam took us to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, now part of the same ski area. The terrain was fantastic, the snow was good, and there was plenty for different ability levels.

One of the highlights was taking the aerial tram at Squaw Valley. When we stepped off at the top and saw those panoramic views over Lake Tahoe, we just stood there for a minute taking it all in. Even if you're not skiing, the views alone make it worth going up.

There was plenty of terrain for experienced skiers, but also easier slopes, so our group had something for everyone. Adam is a skier himself and knows the area very well, which was a big plus. He knew where to take us and could also give us some good advice about the mountain.

It was a great day out and definitely one of the highlights of our time in California.

A Wonderful Winter Adventure in Yosemite

We traveled from Caracas, Venezuela, to California with our three children, and one of the things we were most excited about was visiting Yosemite. Since we only had a couple of days, we booked the 2-day Yosemite winter tour from San Francisco, and it turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip.

Our guide Adam was excellent from the beginning. He was very friendly, patient with our children, and made the long drive enjoyable. He also knew Yosemite very well and took the time to explain the different places we were seeing instead of simply driving us around.

Seeing Yosemite covered in snow was something really special for our family. The Valley looked completely different in winter, and the kids loved seeing the snow and being outdoors. Coming from Venezuela, this was a very different experience for all of us!

We also really appreciated that we didn't have to worry about driving, finding our way around, or organizing everything ourselves. With three kids and only two days, having transportation, the hotel, and the Yosemite visit organized made the trip so much easier.

We came to California very excited about Yosemite, and the experience exceeded what we imagined. The children still talk about the snow and everything they saw.

Adam was a great guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to spend time with. He knew the area well and showed us places we probably would not have found on our own. With our family, it was especially nice not having to worry about driving, parking, directions, or trying to organize everything ourselves.

Yosemite Valley was absolutely beautiful, and seeing the giant sequoias in person was something we will not forget. The size of the trees is difficult to understand until you are standing next to them. Our family really enjoyed the combination of Yosemite's incredible scenery and the peaceful feeling of walking among the sequoias.

The two days went by very quickly, but we felt like we experienced a lot without being rushed. Adam also gave us plenty of time to stop, take photos, and simply enjoy the scenery.

Coming all the way from Prague, we had high expectations for Yosemite, and it did not disappoint. It was a memorable experience for our whole family, and Adam made the trip easy and enjoyable from beginning to end.

Thank you, Adam, for all your hard work and for helping us make some wonderful memories.

Five-Star VIP Service

We honestly had a fantastic experience from the beginning.

The booking process was easy, communication was excellent, and the actual tour was just as good. Everything was handled professionally, and we felt well looked after throughout the trip.

They say they aim to exceed expectations, and in our case, they certainly did.

A Fantastic Two Days in Yosemite

We booked a two-day private Yosemite tour at the end of April and had a brilliant time.

We did some great hiking, including the Vernal Fall trail, which was definitely an experience! We took loads of photos, saw bears, and had plenty of laughs along the way.

Leo was an excellent guide and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. He knew the park well and seemed to know when to push on and when to give us time to stop and enjoy the scenery.

It was a really memorable couple of days in Yosemite.

The very best way for us to experience Yosemite.

The very best way for us to experience Yosemite.

We know that the private tour we had with Adam was the very best way for my husband and I to experience Yosemite National Park. From being picked up and returned 3 days later to our San Francisco airport hotel and the whole time in between, we felt like we were gifted with a most knowledgeable tour guide(Adam) about the area. He knew so much about Yosemite and many of the orchards, restaurants, and towns on the way, it was like having an excited person wanting to show off an area he really loves. He knew that we were on a "sightseeing" tour because we are in our early 80's and hiking very far was not manageable any more for us. We didn't want to slow down anyone if we were in any kind of "group" tour, nor did we ever have sit around to wait for someone else to return so we could continue seeing the sights. He know where and when to stop to get the best pictures for us to remember our trip that has been on our bucket list for many, many years.
